Wanted to add a review to thank and acknowledge the excellent care and kindness shown to my dad by Jackie and the wonderfully dedicated team at Henley and also to all staff at Wellfield for the superb care of my mum before she passed in December 2025.


The staff go above and beyond for the residents

and their families. Aleays keeping us well informed. Regular activities and guest entertainers are great. Thanks again you are like a second family to my dad.

All the staff and henley house did their best to care for our Mum who had been diagnosed with dementia. We can't praise them enough, nothing was too much trouble and we were made welcome whenever we visited

We are so pleased with the care my stepmother is receiving from the staff at Henley House. She settled in from the day she arrived. They have lots of activities, food is good and the staff are always cheerful and helpful. This has made the transition from independent living to care home much easier
for both of us.

My wife came to helsby House direct from hospital;We have been very lucky to find this nursing home-Its very very well run-The staff are genuinly caring about the patients-My wife suffers from Dementure and incontinenceIn the Nursing Home I have witnessed the friendly interaction between my wife and
the staff and management-BUT they are also working hard at the same time.Its not an easy job caring for my wife I tried it for 5 years and due to my own various illnesses had to hand my wife over to the profeesionals!My wife is completely at home in henly House-The overall Manager is on *the ball* she knows the way forward for my wife and is determined she will get her on her feet again in the near future-Something I really do hope she manages.So to sum up-A well run Nursing Home not far from my house.Staff who work hard and CARE for their patients-You cant ask more than that-My thanks to ALL staff at hely House Accrington

The family cannot thank the Manager and staff enough at Henley House for the care being given to my mother in law over the last eighteen months. The wonderful consistent carers and amazing Manager, work as a dedicated professional and happy team. The residents know the team and the team know the residents
well. The staff are always welcoming, going above and beyond their normal duties. Nothing appears to be too much trouble. My mother-in law is treated with utmost care, respect and dignity as if she was one of their own family members. She is a hands on Manager, being very approachable and very supportive to both my mother- in- law and the family, which is hugely appreciated. The residents all love and respect her, and although she is professional in her role, she also has a fun side to her, when appropriate. It has been hugely satisfying to know that our loved one is in safe and caring hands. I highly recommend the quality care the team provide at Henley House.

My mother initially came into Henley House for a couple of weeks respite at the beginning of May 2025 . Her care was absolutely brilliant from day one. The staff could not do enough for her and put her and us at ease . It was a difficult decision for myself and dad to even try respite as we had cared
for mum solely for a number of years. Unfortunately her dementia had progressed so much so that it was time that she needed 24 hour care . After her initial 2 weeks there was no doubt in our minds that Henley House was the perfect place for mum to be full time . The surroundings are homely and the staff treat all residents with care, respect and dignity. The Manager is amazing, she has plans in place to update some areas which need a little TLC and is so friendly and approachable. Any issues are dealt with immediately. Mum has settled in very well and family are made welcome at every visit .

My mother-in-law was in this care home, she passed away on the 11th October in the care home. Her care was amazing, the management and staff are absolutely amazing, they looked after my mother-in-law until the end. Staff are so friendly and make you feel so welcome, couldn't have asked for better care
and love for my mother-in-law. Would recommend this care home to everybody. Thank you so much to the manager and the deputy and all their staff, you have all been amazing.

Moved my mother-in-law into Henley house on the 23rd of May 2024 from another care home the staff and management are amazing it's a lovely home it's a pleasure going to visit my mother-in-law it's like home from home. My mother-in-law is getting is amazing the staff show so much love and kindness to
the residents nothing is too much trouble they go above and beyond thank you to all the staff and management for welcoming my mother-in-law with open arms you're amazing each and every one of you thank you so much.

My mother-in-law has been very well cared for during her 20 months at Wellfield. Staff are wonderful, always spending plenty of time looking after her care needs, providing lots of fun with their chat and helping with eating/drinking.

I'm sure I speak for the whole family when I say a heartfelt huge thank you to all the staff at Henley House Care Home for all their love and dedication in looking after our beautiful grandma. They treated her like she was part of their own family, with love and respect. The team were amazing throughout
Covid making it possible for us as a family to communicate with grandma when we weren't allowed to see her the care home provided entertainment for their residents from singers to Llamas visiting them. The Manager and all the staff were so caring towards us as well when visiting gran, especially the last few weeks for which we cannot thank you enough. The gentleness and compassion of everyone there and the District Nurses who cared for her went above and beyond. Knowing our precious grandma was being looked after and genuinely loved by people who considered her family meant we had peace of mind. Thank you!
