Care Homes Owned by Integra Community Living Options Ltd in Cardiff

Ty Newydd is the worst community setting I have ever been placed in.
It often smells offensive and is dirty, and is poorly maintained with frequent requests for maintenance repairs which are neglected for months at a time.
Safeguarding procedures are not adhered to and all the current service users are deteriorating (the service is currently under investigation).
A few staff are friendly and empathetic, but on the whole, they are lacking in either the training, the experience, or the inclination to support clients to rehabilitate, which is a real shame because the house has so much potential: spacious rooms with en-suites in a lovely location near to many local amenities.

If you would like to be treated with dignity/respect/compassion and to not be constantly judged, labelled, or denied the support you need to overcome your mental health problems, I urge you not to reside here at any cost.

I just want to say that all the staff have made me feel very welcome and they are all happy to help. I haven't been visiting long but I feel very settled and all
