Management staff are very approachable and accessible to all family members. Carers and other staff are kind and gentle to residents and obviously care about the welfare and happiness of all the residents. I do not think I could have found a better place to meet my sister's many needs .

The staff are professional, friendly and warm both towards my mum and us, we can't thank them enough.

Overall, we are very happy that my dad is settled, treated with respect, and well looked after.

I am in the home from 10am to 12:30pm and I am delighted with my wifes care.

The overall atmosphere in Links View is cheerful and staff are attentive to residents and speak to them with care and dignity. There is a regular programme of activities in place which I join in with at times, including trips out and entertainers coming in to the home. Residents are well provided for with choices of food, drinks and snacks. The manager is often visible in the lounge area and chats cheerfully with residents, relatives and other visitors. She seems to have a positive impact on the care team members.

Links View care home is an excellent care home for the elderly residents. The place is spotless, first class food and plenty for the residents to do. The staff are very caring and my mum feel very safe here.

The home has become a pleasant place to visit with the change of management.Always made very welcome on entry.The staff are very friendly and attentive and coffee or tea is offered on arrival this helps to make it a comfortable visit.My sister has settled in very well and I put it down to the constant attention the residents get from the staff. I can't comment much regarding entertainment as I visit each Monday from 10 am until lunch time although what I see on the app there appears to be quite busy with varied entertainment in the afternoons. I would recommend the interior could do with a freshen up including the entrance.During the summer months transport would be an asset to allow a change of scenery for the residents.

My elderly friend has been in Carrick House for almost a year she is 92 years old and treated with great respect and dignity. The care she receives from the Manager and her team is first class. The staff are so approachable and caring to all of the residents and their families. The home is clean, comfortable and welcoming. The food is excellent and home baking everyday in the afternoon.There are activities for the residents everyday which brings excellent stimulation for each resident who wants to participate. I was so impressed today on my visit there was the Manager on the floor helping the care worker putting an item together this is what excellent team work is about which always in my opinion benefits the residents. Well done to all of the staff in Carrick House I would have no concerns of recommending this care home to family and friends.

In my recent visits to my friend I have noticed such a huge difference in the atmosphere and quality of care reisdents have received with the new manager in place. Staff are so friendly and welcoming and a great buzz every time I visit. The views are beautiful from this home and is in a great location. I would highly recommend to others for a loved one. It is a home from home which is what you want for you loved one.

I also have concerns that a glass or jug of water is not left in the room in the evening after mum goes to her room after her evening meal. I feel that 2 -3 hours without a drink in the evening is excessive.

My mother has been, at Parkhouse Manor, for a couple of years. She is very happy with the care and attention received. She is also very happy with the food offered. During my visits, I have always found the staff very friendly and helpful and it is obvious that the staff really care for those they look after. There are always lots of staff around and seem to engage well with the residents. If ever there are any medical or other issues with my mother's care, I or one of my sisters always receive an informative call from a member of staff. The only issue I have is, as my mother has dementia, she is now unable to use her mobile phone which makes easy telephone contact, with her, pretty difficult and can entail many unanswered calls from myself or my sisters. I do, however, understand that telephone lines have to be kept as clear as possible but I feel that this is an issue that could be addressed.

My family are overwhelmed by the care and support our mother receives from the staff and management at Carrick House. We are always consulted about any health issues and are given regular updates on her wellbeing. We are able to see how she is included in the activities offered by the staff. She is always beautifully dressed and has her hair done weekly, which she likes. My mother always appears happy when we visit. We appreciate all the staff's efforts.

Dad became a resident of Carrick House last July (2022). I am very impressed with the standard of care. The team know my Dad well and respond to his needs, spot deterioration quickly and act appropriately. He is encouraged to participate in the activities and enjoys them. Care is taken to modify the experience to his ability. Equally, sometimes he just likes to snooze in his chair as he did at home. It is a well-run team with well-developed staff. Housekeeping - excellent, catering - excellent, nursing care and communication - superb.

Mum has been at Carrick House for almost a year. She has settled in quickly and is happy and content. The friendly local staff make her feel at home and she is treated like family. Whenever I visit the staff are always attentive and chatting with the residents. The care is first class and communication with me is excellent at all times. I have complete confidence in the staff and management to do what is best for my Mother. I cannot recommend Carrick House highly enough.

Have been very happy with the care given to my Dad at Carrick House. The staff are really good with him.

My wife recently moved into Carrick House and has settled very well and has become confident and happier within herself in the short time living there. The staff are great. My wife has also started eating again.

Staff are very patient and attentive to residents with more challenging health issues. The home welcomes visitors and does understand the reaction of some to their relatives' health issues. Residents do seem to be very content. The staff react to health issues and keep relatives updated. The home continues to be very careful with regards to potential COVID infections being brought into the home.
