Care Homes Owned by Carrick Care Ltd in Ayrshire

My elderly friend has been in Carrick House for almost a year she is 92 years old and treated with great respect and dignity. The care she receives from the Manager and her team is first class. The staff are so approachable and caring to all of the residents and their families. The home is clean, comfortable and welcoming. The food is excellent and home baking everyday in the afternoon.There are activities for the residents everyday which brings excellent stimulation for each resident who wants to participate. I was so impressed today on my visit there was the Manager on the floor helping the care worker putting an item together this is what excellent team work is about which always in my opinion benefits the residents. Well done to all of the staff in Carrick House I would have no concerns of recommending this care home to family and friends.

My family are overwhelmed by the care and support our mother receives from the staff and management at Carrick House. We are always consulted about any health issues and are given regular updates on her wellbeing. We are able to see how she is included in the activities offered by the staff. She is always beautifully dressed and has her hair done weekly, which she likes. My mother always appears happy when we visit. We appreciate all the staff's efforts.

Dad became a resident of Carrick House last July (2022). I am very impressed with the standard of care. The team know my Dad well and respond to his needs, spot deterioration quickly and act appropriately. He is encouraged to participate in the activities and enjoys them. Care is taken to modify the experience to his ability. Equally, sometimes he just likes to snooze in his chair as he did at home. It is a well-run team with well-developed staff. Housekeeping - excellent, catering - excellent, nursing care and communication - superb.

Mum has been at Carrick House for almost a year. She has settled in quickly and is happy and content. The friendly local staff make her feel at home and she is treated like family. Whenever I visit the staff are always attentive and chatting with the residents. The care is first class and communication with me is excellent at all times. I have complete confidence in the staff and management to do what is best for my Mother. I cannot recommend Carrick House highly enough.

Have been very happy with the care given to my Dad at Carrick House. The staff are really good with him.

My wife recently moved into Carrick House and has settled very well and has become confident and happier within herself in the short time living there. The staff are great. My wife has also started eating again.

Staff are very patient and attentive to residents with more challenging health issues. The home welcomes visitors and does understand the reaction of some to their relatives' health issues. Residents do seem to be very content. The staff react to health issues and keep relatives updated. The home continues to be very careful with regards to potential COVID infections being brought into the home.

Everybody is so nice and extremely helpful. My room is lovely - nice and cosy with my own television and toilet. Food has been very good. I would recommend this to anyone.

The quality and level of care provided by Carrick House Nursing Home is second to none. Staff at all levels go above and beyond their remits to provide an exceptionally caring and supportive environment to their residents. My own mother has experienced the most secure, safe and comforting environment throughout her time in Carrick House, due in huge part to the approach and attitude of all the staff and the ethos and management of the organisation.

Staff are very welcoming and share information relating to my step-dad every time I visit. Nursing staff check in about his needs and keep me up to date with any medical issues.

The manager is very approachable and responds immediately should there be any issues.

My wife has been resident at Carrick House for 2 years and during that time I am happy to report she has been well cared for. Any issues I may have had have been attended to immediately. The home is fortunate to have good management and staff, some of whom give of their own free time on occasions and buy the residents little gifts.
