My father was in Carmichael Care Home for approximately 18 months.
It was the best thing to happen to him.
The staff are amazing, of all ages, super friendly, and genuine, they have a brilliant Activities Co-ordinator, Sharon, who has a bubbly personality. She does daily stretching, quizzes, bingo,
music, and sometimes live music and dancing.
Full-time nurses, the Manager has been there for over 20 years so the home is run like a well-oiled machine. They are very adaptable and cater to resident's individual needs.
I would definitely recommend this nursing home.

I was recently a resident for six to eight weeks following a leg amputation. I was very impressed with the attitude of all the staff and willingness to help, the food was excellent and plentiful. The medical care was also of a very high standard. Overall staff were courteous and pleasant at all times.

Staff were very kind to Mum and very supportive to me. They went out of their way to help me sort things out for Mum. The environment was very clean, but comfortable and not overly clinical. I highly recommend the care and attention given.

Mum has Alzheimer's and vascular dementia and is cared for by my 84 year old father, who recently fell and then had a stroke. Mum was admitted for emergency respite care which ended up being for 5 weeks. All staff were polite, kind, caring and treated Mum with the utmost respect and humour. Also very
supportive of us as a family. Excellent care!

A fantastic nursing home with staff so obviously dedicated to their residents. The attention given to each one of them is a huge comfort to my family. They are kept active daily with quizzes, singalongs, and encouraged to take part. Every single member of staff makes the residents feel special. I'd
recommend this place to anyone. It's a lovely, extremely clean and welcoming home.
