Care Homes Owned by South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust

My Aunt resided here for 2 years. We were gutted to move her to nursing care as this place was her home, she loved it. From the first minute of her stay until the last, the staff have, without exception, all been amazing. They welcomed us with open arms, hugs during bad days and compassion like nowhere else I have experienced. The care and devotion to their residents is warm and honest. They provided a gold level of service at every stage, supporting me as a relative as well as giving my elderly aunt the very best of care possible. The food, the cleanliness and comfort are excellent and I cannot recommend this residence enough. If you genuinely care for your loved one with dementia, this is the best choice. I visited some others which should have been shut down years ago, the care and conditions were just shocking. I told our social worker that I wouldn't put a dog in some of the other residential homes. Mt Alex staff are just amazing. Cannot thank them all enough.

My 80-year-old sister-in-law was admitted to Northfield on May 3rd 2024. The staff have been amazing with her. So patient and understanding. We had to come home to Wales and they kept us well informed. We knew she was safe with them. She was readmitted to hospital on 23rd May 2024. We cannot thank them enough for looking after her while in their care.

My mother has moved to live in Ardview House Ardglass. I am very happy to say as a family we are so pleased with the care, the service and the staff. I wish other homes would follow Ardview example. I am thankful to all who help my mother.

Saw first hand the wonderful care and dedication of the staff. While I would not like to single any individuals it is very obvious how they all pull together to make Drumlough a great home with a remarkable atmosphere. They provide great care with bright clean rooms and all the residents smiling. The lady has now moved to another home but constantly talks about the good times in Drumlough, great meals, especially the desserts and how she misses the exercise classes with a bit of singing included. Great Home with good dedicated staff and care.

I can't speak highly enough of Northfield. I was treated exceptional well by all the staff the food was delicious and the room I had was clean comfortable and cosy and there was always staff available on hand to help nothing was too much trouble.
