The staff have been wonderful caring for my mum. They have offered to take her post and send it and she enjoys the daily conversation with all staff.
The room and bed is always clean and tidy. My mum is treated with dignity and respect.

I needed to find somewhere for my Mum to have respite care and from the moment I contacted Oakhouse they were amazing. All the staff are so kind, Sophie the manager was so lovely with Mum and held her hand throughout our first meeting to reassure her. There's always music playing, and always something
going on. Mum was a bit unsettled to begin with but they reassured her - and let me phone every day to see how she was. they were aware of how to cope with Mum's dementia and were kind, encouraging and caring. I've booked her in for another resbite.

I am incredibly grateful for the care and kindness the staff have shown my husband since he moved into the home. The staff are always patient, compassionate and attentive, and it is clear that they genuinely care about the residents' well-being. Communication with us is also excellent, the staff always
happy to update me, and answer any questions I have. The home is always clean and comfortable.

The staff at the care home are always happy and willing to help, they have a great relationship with the residence from what I see and seem really happy to be working at the care home. The management team take a flexible approach in dealing with families of the residence depending on the special needs
of the person which I feel is a very sensible way to work. If ever we need to ask for an adjustment, the team will do what they can to assist with this. We are never worried about asking for anything. The food always looks good and I feel confident my father is being well looked after and is in safe hands. This gives us all peace of mind!

I have been so impressed with the care home, they look after my mum incredibly well, keep me informed at all times regarding any issues and how she has been doing. The staff have been so welcoming and caring from day one. Always helpful and caring. The peace of mind given cannot be underestimated.

Mum is very well looked after. Staff are extremely caring and patient. The manager is very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are lovely and kept very clean. Mum is contented and happy which makes us relatives happy too.

I cannot thank all the staff at Llantarnam for their wonderful care of my dad and also us as a family. Dad's transition into a care home has come with lots of complex needs but they have all gone above and beyond to support him and myself. You are always met with smiles and kind words. Always feel very
welcome even during their busiest times. Every phone call is never rushed and you always feel so much better for it. Recently dads had a few challenges but I've received phone calls updating me every step of the way. The Lodge is beautiful, bright airy and his room along with his en-suite are kept clean and accident free. I've attended at meal times and always find the food fabulous and the staff will go above and beyond to cater for dad. I cannot thank Andrea Diane and the Team for their wonderful care of my dad. You are all truely amazing and we are forever thankful. Well done Llantarnam Lodge

I cannot fault the care and attention my brother has had at Romilly Nursing Home. He was only 65 when he moved in but every effort was made to accommodate him. All the staff are very caring and attentive, when at home he wouldn't eat but since being at the care home he is enjoying the food and has re-gained
his weight. Fabulous team from management to carers.

Lovely homely feeling home, with staff and management who genuinely care about the quality of life and health of the residents. Take the time to get to know the residents and their quirks and concerns and make sure they are happy and comfortable there. Have had issues with the activities offered but
this was sorted out as soon as it was raised to manager. Food is not always to the taste of my resident, but that is because she has particular taste. That being said, the manager will ensure that she has a specific separate meal occasionally and is made to feel special.

Generally a warm atmosphere at the Romilly.
Any issues (which generally are minor) are dealt with swiftly.
Home is kept warm and clean.
Very friendly staff.

My mum has been in Romilly for over 3 years 5 months. I can safely have a holiday and know she's safe and well looked after. She's warm and secure and is happy in her own way. Staff are kind and caring and treat my mum kindly and I have no problems.

My Mum moved to Oak House during the first Covid lockdown. It was a difficult time as we were unable to view the home before her moving in and were unable to visit.
The staff were wonderful-I was sent videos and pictures of Mum's room which looked lovely and pictures of Mum looking happy and settled.
A
lot of effort was made by the home to facilitate safe visits when the restrictions were lifted and it was clear to see that Mum was being very well cared for.
All the staff I have encountered at Oak House are friendly and interact brilliantly with the residents. You can see that the residents like the staff who care for them so diligently.
Mum has sadly had to move on from Oak House due to her condition becoming more complex.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Oak House to anyone seeking residential care.
I thank all the staff for caring for Mum so excellently and always keeping me informed and involved. A special thank you to the care home manager, who goes above and beyond.
