My mother Margaret was taken ill last Thursday with an infection she is 91 and has Alzheimer's.
The staff on duty that day were exceptional and I need to give the most praise to Bianca who is a senior carer, she went above and beyond to care for my mum and even stayed on duty later to ensure she happy
with my mums condition.
Thank you everyone but big thanks to Bianca.

Sandra runs an amazing home here. My Partners Great Grandfather moved in a month ago, and has dementia.

There has been some confusion with the council about funding, but Sandra and the team have been amazing in finding ways to help us, and make sure my partners gramps is well looked after.

We've

visited a few times in the past month, the house is gorgeous, the team are friendly and the activities look great! My partner was even able to put on a flute performance for everyone, allowing his gramps to hear him play live again.

A safe place for your family member.

Mum initially went in for 2 weeks respite but is now in full time. As a family we cannot speak highly enough of all the staff throughout the care home. From the minute we walked in to have a look around, we have been made to feel so welcome and the team there feel like family. The care that they all
provide is absolutely second to none I cannot fault anything. They have fantastic activities twice a day an amazing menu everyday and frequent drinks and snacks throughout the rest of the day. The staff have made a very difficult and emotional decision so much easier and have been and still are a constant support to our family. I would definitely recommend Monson Care Home for your loved one

After finding ourselves in quite a desperate situation and needing respite care for my mother in law, I rang Stoneswood. The deputy manager was so empathetic/sympathetic and informative of what the home could offer. Within a week of calling we chose Stoneswood and my mother in law is now in on a permanent
basis as the care is excellent. She is thriving in there with the care of the staff with lots of activities to keep her stimulated and inclusive. Would highly recommend for any loved one.

Putting my mum into a care home was a huge worry, but Walton Manor was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere is so warm and the staff are incredibly compassionate. They looked after my mum beautifully for four weeks, treating her with dignity and respect. She came out happier and more herself. A truly
wonderful home with exceptional people. We are so grateful. The food was also fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff.

Walton Manor has provide the most excellent care to my mum. When she first moved in we had several incidents where she has struggled to settle into the new surroundings. The staff have all shown such patience and care to her, and assisted her in every way. The residents are all looked after with such
care, and are helped to join in the many activities that are going on and are all kept very clean and tidy, and are happy. All of the rooms are also kept really clean and tidy, its a lovely place to be. The staff are very attentive, both to the residents and visitors alike. My parents have been in 4 different homes this year, and i would highly recommend Walton Manor.

Mum has been here since May 2025, and has been well looked after. She has regained her appetite and has become settled whilst she is here. The staff are always attentive, but I do feel that sometimes, they could probably do with a little more assistance.
Reply from Ben Pemberton, Home Administrator at Walton ManorThank you for your compliments about the staff team; we've recently adjusted up staffing levels in response to feedback and to further support the delivery of the great care we're known for. My mum has lived at Walton Manor for 2.5 months now. It had become too difficult and unsafe for her to live at home alone any longer. We came for a look around and immediately felt a great atmosphere and knew it would be perfect for mum. She has settled quickly and well and loves the company and care
she receives daily.
I visit her 3 to 4 times a week, and everything is great. Mum loves the home-cooked food, & the company of both the lovely staff and other residents. Everyone works so hard to ensure the smooth running of the care home. The garden is huge, so mum gets her exercise daily, and it is heart-warming to see her so happy and laughing every time i visit. Thank you all so much for making mum so improved in her health & wellbeing.

Overall, I'm happy with my dad's care and the care home in general. The only criticism is that no one seems to take note of the fact that I have mentioned on numerous occasions that dad needs a urine bottle last thing at night and the first thing in the morning. After repeated requests, I am still
coming in to see dad late morning and finding him in bed with wet bedding. I don't have an issue with him sleeping in, but I don't like the fact that he is lying in a mess. The majority of the carers are great with the residents.

Dad has been in Walton Manor for 9 months and has over the time there become more and more happy and settled. The staff know him very well and he responds really well to the staff. they care for Dad and all the Residents and that is evident from how the Residents respond to staff members.

The food,

bedroom, and activities are also all excellent and the staff always strive to do their best. The job is very hard and the staff are always encouraging even when they are tired. They are always welcoming to visitors and families as well.

I am thankful to all the staff and the Walton Manor Team, for making Dad's time there to be really good.

Thanks to each and every member of staff who are so lovely and caring to our Dad.

My Mum has been a resident at Walton Manor for 2 years and I visit most days. There is a consistent commitment from the manager and the team to provide high standards throughout the home. Improvements and enhancements are always visible and in every area. They work so hard every day to deliver care
that reassures families and friends that their loved ones are in a safe, comforting and caring environment. Each member of staff knows my Mum very well, no matter what area of the home they work in. They know her as a person. They also know her needs, likes and dislikes, without having to refer to the endless record keeping they also have to do. The relationship they have built with her is a very genuine one and it shows. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they always have a welcoming smile. As hard as it is to have my Mum in care, I truly appreciate the team at Walton Manor. It's a homely home. Thankyou, each and every day.
