My mum spent the last 6 months of her life at Hampton Court. I never regretted that choice. The care she received was well above my expectations. She was in the lodge, which was always exceptionally clean, calm and well staffed. Most days, when I arrived to visit a staff member would be sitting with
mum, holding her hand and talking to her. Everyone always had her best interests at the centre of everything they did, for which I am truly grateful.
Reply from Kelly Webb Singh, Care Home Manager at Hampton Court Care HomeThank you so much for taking the time to share your experience and for your kind words. It means a great deal to us to know that your mum's final months at Hampton Court were filled with the care, comfort and companionship she deserved. Our team in The Lodge are deeply committed to providing person-centred care, and your comments about staff spending time with your mum, holding her hand and ensuring her wellbeing was always at the heart of everything they did are truly touching.

We are incredibly grateful that you placed your trust in us during such an important time, and we are honoured to have been able to support both your mum and your family. Your feedback will be shared with the whole team, who will be very proud to know they made a positive difference.

The Village Nursing Home

My Mum passed away last week after four and a half years as a resident of The Village Nursing Home. She had had a vascular dementia diagnosis for seven years before this. She had been a resident in four other care homes who had not been willing to keep her due to her aggressive nature.
From the first
day she arrived at The Village her aggression was managed so well that it almost disappeared. She became much calmer and soon began to enjoy her surroundings. She enjoyed the activities and loved to be in the garden.
The last year has been difficult for her and she has been in bed since November as frailty prevented her from getting up. The staff have been amazing! The care she has received has been outstanding. The staff loved and cared for her with kindness and compassion. Nothing was too much trouble. She was always clean and fresh, her clothes well maintained and her diet specially thought out. I will never be able to say thank you enough to the staff for all they have done. Xxxx

We have been kept up to date on what is happening. The staff are very reliable, and they treat residents with care and kindness. Bedrooms are lovely, and make sure residents feel comfortable. I would recommend this nursing home to anyone who approaches me. The standards are top, the staff never leave
residents on their own, they motivate them, always something going on. To put people's minds at rest can visits then go home and not worry. The loved ones are looked after 24 hrs.
Reply from Kelly Webb, Care Home Manager at Hampton Court Care HomeThank you for your kind review.

Mom moved to Hampton Court in June 2025 and was a resident in The Lodge due to her challenging behaviour. She lived there until she passed away in December 2025. I always found the staff in the lodge to be very caring, professional and approachable. Mom was always clean, tidy and well presented in her
own clothes. The home was always spotlessly clean, and her wardrobe/room was very tidy. When mom was at end of life in hosptial, the lodge agreed to have mom back for her last few days. She was treated with absolute dignity. We couldn't have asked for better care.
Reply from Kelly Webb, Care Home Manager at Hampton Court Care HomeThank you for taking the time to share your experience and for your kind words. We are truly honoured that you chose Hampton Court to care for your mom during such an important time.
It means so much to hear that our team in The Lodge provided compassionate, professional care and supported your mom with dignity and respect throughout her stay, especially during her final days. Your comments about her presentation and the cleanliness of the home will be greatly appreciated by the whole team.
Our thoughts are with you and your family, and we thank you for trusting us with your moms care.

My ability to complete this is limited, as I have only been visiting for an hour or two once a week. Some ratings left blank because I have no experience of them.
Overall, things seem to be generally good, with caring and attentive staff. I do have experience of another care home I used to visit daily.
There seemed to be much more entertainment and many activities there (two dedicated staff for this), and they had large TVs. Other than this, everything is fine.

I couldn't be more grateful for the exceptional care my father receives at Hampton Court.
The staff are truly the heart of this home. Their caring nature and genuine attention to Dad's individual needs have given me immense peace of mind. They don't just provide on going or day to day support; they
treat him with dignity, warmth and friendship.
What has been most impressive is their willingness to accommodate my unique situation. Being thousands of miles away, I often have questions or concerns and the team is always patient, transparent and responsive. They've gone above and beyond to provide alternative ways for us to stay in touch, facilitating video calls and regular updates that make the distance feel much smaller.
It is a massive relief to know he is in such safe, friendly and capable hands. I highly recommend this home to any family looking for truly compassionate care.
Reply from Gina Cirino, Care Home Manager at Hampton Court Care HomeThank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. We're pleased that our updates and video calls help you stay connected, and we will continue to do everything we can to support both you and your father. Your recommendation and kind words will be shared with the team-they will be incredibly proud.

We are so grateful for the care and compassion shown at Hampton Court. From the very beginning, everything is person-centred, with staff taking the time to really get to know my mum as an individual, not just her needs on paper.
The team are incredibly kind, patient, and caring, and it's clear they
genuinely care about the residents' wellbeing.
What stands out most is how well they adapt to my mum's changing needs. Nothing ever feels like too much trouble, and care is adjusted thoughtfully and respectfully to ensure she is comfortable, supported, and treated with dignity at all times.
Knowing my mum is safe, happy, and cared for with such warmth means everything to us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this care home to anyone looking

Mum spent the last 4 months of her life at Boldmere Court & truly I don't know what we would have done without them. We cared for mum at home for as long as we could until we couldn't anymore. Seeing the level of care, kindness and compassion she received immediately from the team, gave us all a great
deal of peace of mind and we knew we'd made the right decision.
Over the 4 months the staff became like friends to us all as a family, they took time getting to know her & her likes and dislikes & listened to her. When mum's time was coming to an end, they supported and guided us through the process. Showing nothing but the highest level of care, comfort, respect & dignity to Mum and empathy to us. They respected mum''s RC faith to the very end & in the way they prepared her after death - something we will never forget. We can never thank all of the staff on the Oscott Floor enough and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Boldmere Court.
Reply from Kerry Jackson, Operations Director at Boldmere Court Care Homethank you for kind words and also for the recent donations to the home, they really helped. it was such a pleasure to look after mum and meet all of your family. I have passed on your lovely comments to oscott unit especially.
