Hampton Court has been purpose-built to meet a wide range of nursing requirements, with staff particularly experienced in personalised assistance for mental health problems.

Supporting a satisfying daily lifestyle, alongside the skilled care provision, the home offers access to activities, interests and therapies, such as reminiscence, water spa and visual therapy, as well as exercise and music classes.

The Lodge is a specialist unit set within the care home. Set over two floors this dedicated service has been carefully designed and fully refurbished to support the health and care needs of the elderly population within Wolverhampton and the West Midlands, specifically focusing on those with Complex Dementia.

The setting offers a specialist service for people, primarily over the age of 55, who have complex dementia. Individuals with complex dementia often present with multiple and challenging needs that require experienced care in a safe and appropriate environment. All staff are trained to provide the highest quality of therapeutic support and care to people who have varying forms of dementia, progressive neurological illnesses and acquired brain injuries (including strokes).

Operating as a separate care facility within Hampton Court The Lodge supports up to 20 individuals with complex dementia; all bedrooms are single rooms with en suite. The refurbishment and reconfiguration has created bespoke internal and external day spaces designed with personalised care and the challenges of dementia firmly in mind.

The Lodge benefits from it’s own secure enclosed dementia friendly garden and internal spaces which include a 50’s themed Diner, a Cinema room and a lounge/games room on the ground floor. On the first floor there is The Lodge ‘Tea Room’ providing a lounge and dining area for those individuals choosing to spend time on the first floor.

Mom moved to Hampton Court in June 2025 and was a resident in The Lodge due to her challenging behaviour. She lived there until she passed away in December 2025. I always found the staff in the lodge to be very caring, professional and approachable. Mom was always clean, tidy and well presented in her
own clothes. The home was always spotlessly clean, and her wardrobe/room was very tidy. When mom was at end of life in hosptial, the lodge agreed to have mom back for her last few days. She was treated with absolute dignity. We couldn't have asked for better care.

My ability to complete this is limited, as I have only been visiting for an hour or two once a week. Some ratings left blank because I have no experience of them.
Overall, things seem to be generally good, with caring and attentive staff. I do have experience of another care home I used to visit daily.
There seemed to be much more entertainment and many activities there (two dedicated staff for this), and they had large TVs. Other than this, everything is fine.
Reply from Gina Cirino, Care Home Manager at Hampton Court Care HomeThank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I couldn't be more grateful for the exceptional care my father receives at Hampton Court.
The staff are truly the heart of this home. Their caring nature and genuine attention to Dad's individual needs have given me immense peace of mind. They don't just provide on going or day to day support; they
treat him with dignity, warmth and friendship.
What has been most impressive is their willingness to accommodate my unique situation. Being thousands of miles away, I often have questions or concerns and the team is always patient, transparent and responsive. They've gone above and beyond to provide alternative ways for us to stay in touch, facilitating video calls and regular updates that make the distance feel much smaller.
It is a massive relief to know he is in such safe, friendly and capable hands. I highly recommend this home to any family looking for truly compassionate care.
Reply from Gina Cirino, Care Home Manager at Hampton Court Care HomeThank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. We're truly delighted to hear how happy you are with the care your father receives at Hampton Court. Our team works hard to provide compassionate, person-centred support, and it means a great deal to know this has brought you peace of mind, especially while you're living overseas.

We're pleased that our updates and video calls help you stay connected, and we will continue to do everything we can to support both you and your father. Your recommendation and kind words will be shared with the team-they will be incredibly proud.

We are so grateful for the care and compassion shown at Hampton Court. From the very beginning, everything is person-centred, with staff taking the time to really get to know my mum as an individual, not just her needs on paper.
The team are incredibly kind, patient, and caring, and it's clear they
genuinely care about the residents' wellbeing.
What stands out most is how well they adapt to my mum's changing needs. Nothing ever feels like too much trouble, and care is adjusted thoughtfully and respectfully to ensure she is comfortable, supported, and treated with dignity at all times.
Knowing my mum is safe, happy, and cared for with such warmth means everything to us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this care home to anyone looking

Overall experience is good, the staff are polite, affable, cheery and humourous. My dad came to the home initially on a palliative care arrangement with anticipated "days to live". The care has been good and alas the gentleman's health has improved and he's still with us. His quality of life from an
observational perspective has markedly improved.
Special shout out to Gina (manager) who endeavours to always assist both my dad (and by attachment myself) with his lifestyle, dietary and care needs. I would recommend this place to others with similar needs.

My mum has been a resident for 3 years. Since she has been there, it has changed ownership twice.
Rooms have been decorated and new bedroom furniture installed, along with washable flooring. These changes have made the bedrooms look inviting and clean.
The carers, many who have been there for years,
treat Mum like a member of their own family. We are delighted with the care she gets.

The care home is an excellent facility. The staff are fabulous, very caring and considerate. My father was treated with the utmost care and attention.
The manager of the care home, Gina, is a lovely and compassionate woman. She manages the care home with the utmost professionalism. By having that
calibre of management, it then stems all the way down to all the staff members.

Current Review Score: 9.8 (9.813)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.8 (9.813) out of 10 for Hampton Court Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 43 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 43 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.813 for Hampton Court Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (420 Excellents x 5) + (73 Goods x 4) + (6 Satisfactorys x 3) + (3 Poors x 2) ) ÷ 502 Ratings = 4.813
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Hampton Court Care Home is based on 43 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 80 registered maximum number of service users is 16, which has been reached with 43 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
