The staff were very helpful and friendly and a big shoutout to Carl an asset to the care home. Every time I visited there was plenty of staff on site and spoke to my wife as you would expect with care and politeness.
Would definitely recommend to anyone in the same situation.

Since my mam has moved into the grange she has been very well cared for all the staff are very kind with my mam and also I recently had a big birthday (70th) and the kitchen here made me a cake and a lovely buffet tea. It was nice of them to make a fuss of me and a photo was taken of me and my mam and
they printed it which I will cherish forever

My wife has been in the care of The Grange Care Home, since November 2022 and has received care and attention which was exemplary in all areas. The staff all of them have become friends. I wish them well for the future.

The home is extremely clean and I am very lucky to be a resident. Food is good and the staff and related care workers, practitioners and support people are very caring, professional and friendly. We have a good variety of activities, however I wish I could get outside more especially during the summer.
Down side is the lift is regularly out of use and the care home fees increase each year higher than inflation rates.
Reply from Sandra Carr, Consultant Operations Director at The GrangeMany thanks Stella for taking the time to complete the survey. We apologise for the delay in the lift repair, which as you know is due to awaiting parts. I understand that the Operations Manager has spoken to you.

The home is very professional, caring, clean, safe and friendly. Mam is comfortable and I am comforted by the extremely high amount of detailed assistance and tailored support Mam receves at all times from both internal and external service providers. The quality of food and hygiene is excepeitonal
which is very important. Although the fees are competitive, the yearly price increases each time I feel are disproportionate to the cost of living and inflation.
Reply from Sandra Carr, Consultant Operations Director at The GrangeMany thanks for taking the time to complete the survey. In regard to the fee increases, when increasing fees we take into consideration increases in minimum wages and increases in utility costs etc, but we do feel that we are very competitive in the local area with our fees

There is a lovely friendly atmosphere and the whole building is kept nicely and very clean. Staff are attentive and caring, taking account of individual needs. There are stimulating and varied activities and entertainment. Whilst I appreciate the need to maintain high standards of cleanliness I do not
understand why all clothing is washed at 40c, damaged beyond use and smaller items continually lost - socks, underwear.
Reply from Sandra Carr, Operations Director at The Grangemany thanks for taking the time to complete this feedback, if you have concerns about the laundry and damaged items can I ask that you speak to a member of staff regarding this. Many thanks Sandra Carr (Consultant Operations Director)

My mother is suffering from pulmonary fibrosis which is a progressive illness. Since going into The Grange her needs are being well addressed by a team of professional carers and nothing is too much trouble. Mam's general appearance and demeanor have improved remarkably and this is entirely down to
the level of care she is receiving. She is now eating well, is much happier and has settled really well in her new surroundings. It is very reassuring to know that she is being so well looked after.
Reply from Sonia Vinnicombe, Manager at The GrangeThankyou G for your kind words about the care for your mam you feel she has received at The Grange, we aim to continue long term for you to continue to feel as you do about your mam's care with us.

I needed to find some care for my mother after she was discharged from hospital following a fall but I felt that she wasn't well enough or would not be safe enough to go straight back to her bungalow as she lived alone and is fiercely independent. The Grange were contacted to see if they could help
me and my mother and I can honestly say that from the moment she arrived the staff and the love and care provided to not only my mother but to myself and my family has been fantastic. She has now built up her strength, is managing to walk again, is eating more than she ever did, and has made many friends. In fact she loves it so much she has decided she wants to stay there! Can't thank the wonderful staff enough for their professionalism but most of all for the loving care they give to all the residents.
Reply from Sonia Vinnicombe, Manager at The GrangeThank you for this review, we are so happy that your mam and yourselves are happy with the support we offer and delighted to here your mam wishes to stay with us long term.

My partner has been living here for nearly 18 months and I am very happy with the care he receives. The staff are sensitive to his needs and preferences and he clearly is very happy to be there. This period had needed a lot of sensitive and potentially distressing conversations and I have felt acknowledged
and supported throughout. I have marked activities as excellent despite his refusal to engage as the staff offer an extensive range of things to do and it's not their fault he doesn't want to get involved
Reply from Sandra Carr, Operations Director at The GrangeIt is good to hear that you are happy with the care at The Grange, many thanks for your response.

Very pleasant care home, staff very friendly and attentive. Care home is bright and fresh. Staff keen and motivated to help. Only negative point is that some furniture is damaged and does not match - not something I would personally have in my room, however this is a personal opinion!
Reply from Antony Griffiths, Manager at The GrangeThank you for leaving your feedback. Should there be anything that needs fixing due to damages please make this known to the staff team so a replacement can be arranged. Thank you.

My husband is a regular respite user. As a family we are very happy with the overall care he receives whilst staying at The Grange, the staff are excellent, the accomodation is very clean and well looked after, the food is good and there are activities to keep him occupied.
A care plan was put in
place which covers all of his individual needs and the home is well managed and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for care for a relative.
Reply from Rachel Rennie-Doran, Manager at The GrangeWe love having him here and looking after him. We can't wait to see him again soon.

After hearing about other care homes I was very shocked to find this one very clean, tidy and they clean all over the place two times a day, they help you when you aren't well, they did activities, the food/drink was different every day.
The staff looked after me and I couldn't thank them enough. The
staff were always on point with their duties and they interacted with the patients really well.
Reply from Rachel Rennie-Doran, Manager at The GrangeLovely feedback - we hope you visit again soon.

We were looking for a Care Home for my dad after his spell in hospital. After visiting a number of local care homes and having some reservations we knew immediately upon having a tour and speaking with staff members that the Grange would be the place for him. The staff are excellent and understand the
emotions that both the resident and their families have when seeking residential care.
My dad was made very welcomed and the team got him settled in very quickly. Nothing was a problem for them and my dad was treated with exceptional care, respect, and love. It was a relief for the family knowing that he was in such a safe and caring environment.
Unfortunately, after only three weeks my dad's health condition suddenly deteriorated and he passed away with me by his side. The genuine care and compassion of all the staff for us at this time was excellent and they ensured dad was comfortable, in no pain and was allowed to pass away with dignity. Thank you to the Manager and the full team.
Reply from Rachel Rennie-Doran, Manager at The GrangeThank you very much for your review. We really appreciate the review that has been left. You and your family and your dad are such a miss at the care home. Take care
