My Mum has been at Portsdown View Since October 2024, first for respite and loved it so much became a permanent resident, My brother and I have no complaints at all. The staff, manager, cooks everyone are amazing. The events are really great. The care Mum receives is compassionate and excellent. The staff are welcoming to family & friends. outstanding x.

I have lived here for over a year now and I must say it is fantastic. I have been well looked after.

My aunt has settled in very well here. The care and support she receives is excellent, the facilities are second to none and the staff are all friendly and professional without being over bearing. She is very happy here and we are very grateful to all those who help and support her and us.

Fantastic food served and excellent helpful friendly and kind staff. Very clean toilets and corridors. Great cinema room. Lots of entertainment available for the guests. Really enjoyed ourselves. Lovely time was had by all

Had a lovely time. Francis seems to be incredibly well looked after. Food very tasty, staff attentive and seem to really like working there. Afternoon in the cinema room was a brilliant touch. What a great place.

I really like coming to visit my sister at Portsdown View. The staff are all amazing and they provide such great care. Today is their 3rd birthday party, in the garden, such fun for everyone, residents and their families. Well done PDV!

When we visit my mother-in-law, we never have any worries about the visit. We know that she is well looked after and is happy in her environment.

Thoroughly enjoyed the session on dementia. Look forward to more sessions.

I have visited a few times. It's a beautiful place for my step mum, the staff are very friendly, very clean, the food is excellent, and it's lovely to see my step mum so happy. She is being well looked after.

Had a superb family lunch in the Fine Dining room to celebrate a family birthday. Many thanks to Karen, Simon and Sadie. Thank you from me too. It has been very special being able to celebrate my birthday with my dad. The food was delicious, and we all enjoyed being together.

I can't recommend them enough.

Came to have a private meal with friend's sister. An absolutely fantastic 3 course meal. My friend is happy. Staff really helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Meal was cooked perfectly and the presentation was lovely.

We had a wonderful casino night at Portsdown View Care Home! The atmosphere was cosy, familial and a lot of fun. It was clear the staff all have great, supportive and loving relationships with the residents and we came together as one big family to enjoy a fun themed night. Lovely drinks, canapés and live music added to the warm atmosphere, giving us a chance to have fun with our loved one.

Staff go above and beyond, always cheerful and willing to help. If you have an issue, it will be sorted straightaway.

Very well looked after and family visitors were made to feel very welcome. Food excellent and generous.

Nan is very well looked after and the care she receives from all staff is exceptional. The staff are extremely loving and caring towards residents and treat them with respect. You couldn't ask for more.

My mother-in-law has spent over 6 months at Portsdown View. She has been treated with kindness and respect, with my mother-in-law being the centre of her care, her views, wants and wishes are listened to and respected. Staff greet her family warmly and we are always made to feel welcome.
