Tall oaks is a excellent home with fantastic facilities and caring staff. My father was cared for until his passing and even with his problems he was looked after with dignity and love. The home itself is well maintained with recent structural improvements set in well looked after gardens. the staff work tirelessly but at times were stretched especially around break times which left those left on duty struggling to cope but overall this is a lovely place and would recommend it to anyone

I have no bad words to say about this lovely care home where my mother is resident. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

My son had learning difficulties and developed dementia. He was a resident at Tall Oaks for less than a year. He was very well cared for, the staff were extremely kind & professional.

My mum came to Goldendale House in September 2021. From the minute she entered the home I cannot tell you how grateful I am for the care she has received. All the staff are patient and kind. They treat all the residents with respect. The home is clean and well maintained. The food is always fresh and they are happy to go out of their way to accommodate a residents cravings for whatever food they wish for. I feel comfortable when visiting and in fact have impressed me with the level of care that when my father needed care 2 years ago I was fortunate enough to get a place there for him. They are both flourishing there at the present time and I feel content that they are both receiving excellent care. I cannot praise the staff enough for their devotion . Thank you Goldendale.

Nan seems really happy and contant at the home. The staff are lovely and very caring and friendly. Nan seems to be thriving here. The food always looks and smells lovely, nan really enjoy it. The home is clean and modern. Overall, nan and the family are really happy.

My Husband has been a resident at Goldendale for 7 months. The staff are amazing they treat the residents with dignity and with lots of good care. The rooms are always clean and tidy and the food is very good.

During the final weeks of his life, his care I can only describe as devotion to his comfort. I wish to thank all of the staff at Goldendale House for their contribution in my husband's life.

This care/nursing home was allocated via the NHS/CHC assessment process. So that cost was funded by the NHS. I found this home to be extremely adaquate and the staff were excellent in caring for my wife. Some of the ratings are not applicable due to my wife's condition, she was unable to participate.

Thank you so much for the kindness and love you demonstrated to my mum and my dad, when mum was a resident in Goldendale. Staff in general were lovely and a couple of notable ones were absolutely wonderful. Mum had a peaceful, gentle end of life with the support of staff who she clearly thought so fondly of - her eyes lit up with joy when they came to attend to her. It was also evident that the feeling was mutual given how sad staff were when she passed away. We will never forget this as a family.

My father-in-law recently came to Goldendale care home due to him being mistreated at his previous care home. Myself my partner and his wife come visit him near enough every day and we are extremely pleased with the care he receives and the whole appearance and quality of care he's been receiving. It was lovely to find out that the Registered nurse at Goldendale was now here looking after him as we had previously met her while he went into respite for the first time at another previous home. She is a lovely caring person who always goes the extra mile with residents and their families.

We moved my late father into the home with terminal cancer. Right from the start the home were nothing short of fantastic. Whilst it took dad a while to settle in, the staff were more than accommodating and very quickly dad settled in for an all too brief spell. Although dad was only there for around 4 weeks the staff and management made his last four weeks as comfortable and as pain free as possible. They were amazing.

I would wholly recommend Goldendale.

My aunt went to Tall Oaks for emergency respite care and ended up staying for 10 weeks. I cannot thank the staff enough for the kindness shown and care given to my aunt. Unfortunately no family live nearby, so we were unable to visit regularly and we will be forever grateful to all at Tall Oaks for looking after our much loved aunt so well. As an emergency admission, Tall Oaks was not in my aunt's local area so we reluctantly moved her to a care home nearer her friends.

I am very pleased with my father's care, he seems to like it in there, no complaints off him. He enjoys his food, they do the food that he likes, personal hygiene is good, the only thing which could be improved is his bedroom, it does need decorating. Otherwise everything is quite good.

The management and staff are excellent, I feel my mum is safe and well looked after.

The staff are excellent! Very caring! Keep me updated on a daily basis of any changes in Mum's care. Very friendly atmosphere. Always help answer any questions. All staff will sit and chat to Mum and her family. New management very good. Excellent changes have taken place.

Our lovely dad received the most excellent care whilst he resided in Goldendale Home for almost five years. Our mum had peace of mind knowing that Dad was safe and well cared for. I remember when a resident sadly passed away and one of the lovely care staff said, "they are like our family it's so sad when they pass away." What a lovely thing to say, for me it summed up Goldendale, friendly wonderful, caring staff who enjoyed what can be a challenging but rewarding job. They knew the family by name and always welcomed us into the home. Dad had Alzheimer's and we know he didn't always want to be washed or get dressed and might swing his arms around as if to say leave me alone. How brilliantly the staff managed this and provided exceptional care. As a family we would not hesitate to recommend this lovely home to someone for their loved one's care. Sadly our dad passed away recently but was surrounded by wonderful, caring people. Thank you to the Goldendale family.
