I first met Erica when she came to visit my friend in her own home and was immediately impressed with her, she was kind and compassionate. I have also had family stay at Herncliffe in the ,so I knew that my friend would be in good hands. The staff are very caring and made her welcome. Mark Julie Gracie
Zoe Karen to name a few, sadly I can't remember all of the lovely staffs names, but everybody I have come in contact with are genuine kind caregivers. I would also like to mention the reception ladies, always make my husband and I welcome. I like to go at meal times so I can help my friend with her food and I can honestly say, I really fancied some for myself, especially the omelette with cheese sauce delicious

I cannot thank the team enough for the incredible care they provide to my grandfather when he had 2 weeks respite..
The nurses and caregivers are not just professional; they are genuinely warm, patient, and attentive to the small details that make a big difference. The facility is always clean, bright,
and welcoming, and there is a lovely sense of community. It brings our family immense peace of mind knowing they are safe, respected, and so well looked after. Highly recommend.

All staff are amazing kind + caring. If a problem arises it's always dealt with promptly + communicated back to us. Mum has been in LB since April'25 she feels safe and secure she loves it!
I would have no hesitation in recommending LB they go above and beyond. Thank you its a relief for all family
members knowing she is being well looked after.

My mum (Joyce) has been at Laurel Bank since May 2025. Her health and mental health has never been better.
The staff have all been absolutely fantastic. Too many names but from reception to the cleaners 'brilliant'.

We were quite apprehensive when my mother, a dementia sufferer moved in last year as she can be quite feisty and challenging. Thankfully this was totally unfounded as mum settled very quickly in her comfortable room helped and supported by fantastic staff. The home is clean and comfortable and warm,
and generally well looked after. The team at Laurel Bank really seem to care about their residents communicate well and are always available.

Amazing care home. Fantastic staff who really care for the residents, nothing is ever too much trouble and are always so helpful. The home is beautiful and so homely and well kept. And the food is brilliant.

The home is lovely. It's well maintained, clean, the staff are friendly and welcoming. You can tell they take their jobs seriously and engage very professionally with the service users.
There is also a wide range of activities and the staff ensure that everyone who wants to can take part. It's very
inclusive and such a warm, cosy environment.
It is definitely very well managed.

The staff at acacia bank are great. since my nan has moved in, her mental health has improved significantly, the staff interact with her and get get out of her bedroom and ensure she is well taken care of. They ensure she always has her personal cares and is clean and well dressed/presented.
Her bedroom
is always clean and any problems that occur are resolved quickly by the staff. They also listen to family members concerns and comments and take it onboard.

From first visiting avacia bank i was very impressed. Lovely staff, very clean & we highly recommend. I chose this home for respite care for my parents. They had beautiful rooms, great care & lovely meals. Nothing was too much trouble. They really did enjoy there stay.

At Herncliffe, my husband received outstanding care. All staff were caring, respectful & fully cognizant of residents' needs. The management I found to be superb. Whatever the circumstances, the staff had a smile & an encouraging word. They were patient, kind and maintained their professionalism, especially
in challenging situations. All staff take particular care of the families of residents, offering just the right amount of advice & encouragement. I am delighted to say that I don't feel I could have found better care anywhere for my husband during the last phase of his life.

The care provided to my wife is excellent.
Small things like staff getting her ready to go out with friends by doing her hair and making sure she is clean and tidy shows the staff are caring and understanding of residents and family needs.

We want to express our gratitude for the exceptional care and support given to our mum. Specifically keeping her clean, fresh and content with her personal care and dignity. We want to acknowledge the impact their work has on our mum's well-being and our peace of mind. Mum likes to watch entertainers,
singers and dancers but, little craft work even though they try to encourage her.
However, they take time to engage in conversation with mum and every resident, taking time with them. They welcome her family and they never discourage when we sometimes turn up at the same time in numbers. We did have concerns at the beginning of her residency, that she wasn't drinking. We want to thank management for turning this around. All staff care for all residents with respect and kindness. They are all angels and we love them.

I find Laurel Bank a lovely place for my brother staff are very kind and lovely. The rooms are cleaned every day and are a good standard. Plenty of activities if clients want to join in. I am happy my brother is a resident here.
