As a friend of one of the residents and visiting Bankhouse, on a weekly basis for over 4 years, the building and the flats are stunning and a real treasure for residents and visitors. I have been impressed by the staff's dedication and the care taken with all the residents, especially during Covid
which must have been incredibly challenging. The building is clean and tidy, there are a number of activities which are being introduced again and the meals are good value for money, its reassuring knowing that nutritional meal is being cooked every day

I was moved into Bankhouse, 20 Albert Embankment, SE1 7FY in February 2018 and have been fighting to get someone to thoroughly review this establishment ever since. It has never been suitable as a 'care' home, being on 14 floors - 2 lifts, one of which was out of order for 10 months last year - with
flooding wet-rooms, residents who have to pay outside carers to meet their needs, on top of what they have to pay One Housing for not being able to meet their needs. The building and everything about it are appalling.

I have found my life is better since I came to live here. The staff are wonderful. I have a special bath and oil for my skin disorder. The carers, most of them are very understanding and I am so happy I came to live here.

The first time I ever saw this flat, my flat, I fell in love with it. That never changed it never will. I feel safe, cared for and totally content.
