My wife has been a resident of Albany House since June 2020. Since then, her condition has deteriorated a great deal. At every stage, the staff have helped her pass each test. She is warm and well fed, in good spirits and in good general health. I could not be more satisfied that she is receiving the
best possible care and attention. The staff have made me feel at home.

I find the setting my dad is in very pleasant and homely. My dad is really happy here, and that is a comfort to me. He is content, happy and smiling. The staff are lovely to him, always happy to help me with any concerns/matters that I need an answer to, and give amazing care to my dad. He has been
here 3 1/2 years now and is very settled. Thank you!

My dad was transferred to Alban House in January 2025 as he was no longer able to live at home. He has been supported by staff members and made friends with residents. He has enjoyed the home-cooked food and has put weight on. He has enjoyed the themed afternoons and the day trip to the seaside. During
his stay, loneliness and social isolation has been reduced.

My experience with Albany House has been nothing but positive, although my husband was only a resident for 10 days on end of life care the management and staff have been caring and considerate throughout, they couldn't do enough for us, they put my mind at ease knowing I could contact them at any time
of day or night when I wasn't sat with my husband. The only letdown is that the room was very much in need of a facelift and decorating, but I was assured that this is all in hand and that each room was in the process of being decorated.

I have been coming to the Albany Care Home for just over 5 years. The first couple of years, to see my mother-in-law, who used to reside at my house until she deteriorated with her dementia and now my own mum, who has been in The Albany for 3 years. I couldn't praise the home and the staff enough. Lovely
girls, lovely manager and the care and respect they give to all the residents is second to none. I would recommend to any family if they have elderly parents or relatives to come to the home if they can no longer stay in their own home.

Home very clean and laundry service is very good with great care taken to keep internal surroundings clean and safe . Gardens have lots of use by many more mobile residents and shade always available .
Food is fresh and residents have good choice of menu. It was good to see my mum eating a more
nutritional diet than she had at home.
The care home is extremely hot and heating on all the time . This works for many residents but not all. Residents approached in a friendly professional way. Pictures from home welcomed and handy person available to install them quickly to make residents feel more at home . Outside of the care home can look scruffy at times but that might be due to location not effort of staff.
As a relative new to care home setting on personal level I didn't always feel included or my experience of caring for my relative valued .
I feel my mum is safe , clean and getting good nutrition . Mum moans that they can't make a good cup of tea but she's fussy .

My Mum has lived at Rose Farm for two and a half years now and she has received excellent care and support throughout this time.
Her room is kept looking lovely and her health, personal and nutrition needs are met consistently by the kind, caring competent staff team.
Rose Farm is a lovely environment
and is very wellcoming to residents and visitors, it has a lovely conservatory and garden and the space for concerts and all sorts of activities which are facilitated by the lead for activities on a very regular basis.
It is wonderful for me and the rest of my family to know that my Mum is so happy and in a place where she is extremely well looked after.
I think the home is such a success due to its leadership and dedicated staff team. It's enabled this stage of my Mum's life to be a positive chapter she says she wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Over the 11 years that Dad was a resident at Rose Farm, we found that he received the highest standard of loving care from a dedicated team of carers. It was obvious that the Home is very capably managed and even the owners take a close interest in events from time to time. Every aspect of the daily
routine from caring, meals, and activities to cleaning was of the highest quality. I highly recommend Rose Farm in every respect.

Mum has been at Rose Farm for 2 years now and her care needs have increased significantly but so has the response from the whole team. Mum's dementia has progressed and has been managed with a skilled and professional response. All the team have shown Mum respect, courtesy and gentle humour and encouragement
in response to some difficult behaviours. The manager and team have been incredibly supportive of Mum's family during recent health issues. We feel reassured Mum is given appropriate, individualised and sensitive care which is all we could ask for. The manager and deputy listen to any queries and respond quickly to requests to improve care.

Mum has been a resident at Rose Farm for over 2 years. All of the staff are caring, and treat the residents with respect, compassion and dignity (Sometimes under trying circumstances). Mum's health has deteriorated while she has been at Rose Farm, but I feel confident that she is safe and well cared
for. If ever there are any concerns someone will ring me and update me on what is happening. I have seen how well staff treat my mum, the way they talk to her and deal with her. I have always found Mum to be well cared for and as content as possible at Rose Farm. Staff are always available for any small concerns and I have regular meetings with management to keep me updated. There are also online family meetings and a family support group. As my sister and I live some distance
away and cannot visit regularly, it is really important to us that we are kept informed about Mum's wellbeing. Rose Farm organise online chats, and phone calls, and prints out emails and photos in order that we can be in regular contact. The level of care that Mum receives is excellent. She has a named carer for any specific queries and importantly stable care staff - she knows them and they are familiar to her, know her and are fond of all the residents. This is important for someone who needs familiar things, people and continuity to minimise anxiety. It is also essential for my sister and I to know that my mum is being treated well and she certainly is at Rose Farm.
