Care Homes Owned by Luxurycare Group
Luxury Care Group Ltd offers high-quality nursing and residential care for older people, some of whom may also have additional support needs with conditions such as dementia.
Person-centred care is provided to meet the needs of the individual, respecting their rights to informed choice, privacy and to always be treated with dignity.
Some of the homes have introduced the Dr Gemma Jones ‘behavioural staging’ model to help meet the needs of older people with dementia. This is quite different from many other traditional care models.
Homes in the group include Aranlaw House (Branksome Park, Poole), Eagles Mount Care Home (Poole), Regency Manor Care Home (Lower Parkstone, Poole) and Seabourne House (Southbourne, Bournemouth).

I am always apprehensive and unsettled about visiting my mum , concerned on how she will be when I visit , she has been in Eagles Mount for 6 years , but today on Mothering Sunday , Gary met me , took me to my mother , settled me in and because of that I had a very positive happy visit , mum was being
cheeky and so happy , I cannot tell you the difference it made having Gary know I was nervous and helped me with the visit

As a family member, I honestly couldn't be happier with the care my mum receives at Kingsman House. From the very beginning the team made us feel welcome and reassured during what was quite an emotional time for our family. The staff are friendly, patient and genuinely caring, and it's clear they take
the time to get to know each resident as an individual.
Reply from Tori Kerr, Family liaison at Kingsman House Care HomeThank you so much for your lovely reviewit really means a lot to us. We know how emotional moving into care can be, so were really glad our team could make you feel welcome and reassured from the start.

My mum recently moved to Seabourne House in Feb from Norfolk. She has advanced dementia and was very confused when she arrived. The staff at the care home have been incredibly good at helping her settle in. This includes labelling and sorting all her clothes, making her a personalised collage at the
entrance to her room, including her in activities, and just generally being very caring and supporting of her. She's very content now and is always well kept and seems at ease when we come to visit her. Overall this has helped myself and the family through what is a challenging time.
Reply from Tori Kerr, Family Liaison at Seabourne House Care HomeThank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. It truly means a lot to us and to the whole team here at Seabourne House.

This is a review for the care given to my mother Hazel. She is new to Regency Manor but since being in Regency Manor her dementia symptoms appear to be less noticeable. She seems calmer and happier. She is well looked after with regular cups of tea and treats. There are always plenty of staff around
to help her. She is treated as an individual and is comfortable and feels safe. Well done everyone involved.

Aranlaw is the 5th placement for my brother in 2 1/2 years. Prior to admission the manager + deputy were very professional, listening to our concerns, providing articulate answers and reassurances. I always find a welcoming atmosphere every visit with friendly engaging staff. Greeted with a smile and
creating a comfortable environment. The home provides extensive activities going to great lengths to involve as many residents as possible. Even taking my brother to second hand shops, purely because it makes him happy. His bad habit of smoking has proved difficult in finding suitable accommodation. In Aranlaw he has the freedom in a safe environment to smoke when he wants. Staff recognise the importance smoking is to him, helping him relax at times of anxiety. As a retired nurse I am observant and perhaps see the details others may miss. Staff treat residents' safely, with dignity a priority. This home, I believe, is a template for others to emulate treating residents as individuals.
Reply from Tori Kerr, Family liaison at Aranlaw House Care HomeThank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review. Were truly grateful for your kind words and are delighted to hear that your brother feels comfortable and supported at Aranlaw. Our team works hard to create a welcoming environment where each resident is treated with dignity and as an individual, so your feedback means a great deal. We appreciate your trust in us and remain committed to providing the best possible care for your brother.
