Brackenbridge House is set in one and half acres of lawns and gardens with pathways and gardens for residents to enjoy. The home offers 'first class' person-centred care for the over 65's. Conveniently based in South Ruislip, all of London’s sights and sounds are within easy reach, while the Berkshire countryside is a short drive away.

Brackenbridge House is a 36 bedded purpose-built residential care home which benefits from the leadership of a Home Manager who sets the highest of standards for care and all other services. Residents' bedrooms are individually decorated with scope for residents to 'put their own stamp' on their own rooms with the addition of personal items and décor.

I am satisfied with the care given to residents. Care workers are doing a marvelous job during Coronavirus. They kept the care home running in spite of all ups and downs. Keep up the good work. God bless you all.

The home has significantly improved since the new manager and deputy manager have taken over. The care my mum has received has been excellent and they have been really accommodating during lockdown with calls and Facetime calls.

Mum had a great time at Brackenbridge house whilst I was away on holiday. I really appreciate everything that the staff did for her while I was away. Looking forward to visiting the home again soon with Mum to partake in their activities. Dropped by today to thank all the staff and to visit the friends

Without the care and dignity my Mother received during her residential stay, I doubt very much she would have lived to the great age of 93. I will never be able to thank the staff enough for their diligence and support.

Pleasant staff, always around, day room and kitchen. Communicative, kind, considerate very caring. The food is well prepared, presentable and plenty of it for dietary needs. Security very good well maintained at all hours.
Excellent choice of residential home for any service users in need, they are
never left alone.

General bathroom shower not functioning. Boiler/heating breaks down every winter. A complete re-plumbing needs to be done. Electricity - cuts out (lighting) There is no communication from Goldcare re maintenance planning for the year or budget allocation.

While coming to visit my relative, I was very happy to see the way the home was run. Very friendly all staff, domestic and carers was a pleasure to visit and see how much the residents were treated and taken care of. Carry on the good work.

Asked other residents what they thought and all came back with positive remarks.
Feeling OK about leaving my mother in law for two weeks respite care.

My mum has been very happy in this home and many of the carers are lovely and have been very good with her.
However, during the last three years, the changes in management and lack of permanent staff and also the fact that staff are overworked has made me doubt that the home offers the best care.
We have also had financial issues due to the home continuing to take funds from her account after she had gone under the threshold.

My father always has a twinkle in his eyes when we visit. He's always clean and tidy, eats well, looks good other than when he might be unwell. Staff are always attentive, pleasant and helpful, can't do enough for the residents. Plenty of activities where they all take part in.

I visit most Sunday afternoons and am always impressed by the welcome from the staff. The tea/cake and biscuits are served with a smile and always welcome. The place is clean and no smell of old age. The reception rooms are comfortable. My friend's bedroom is always clean and tidy and my friend speaks
well if the general conditions and meals.

My mother-in-law seems happy and healthy here and has nothing but good to say about the staff and the food. On every occasion we have visited, she seems happy not upset and is definitely healthier than she has been for a while.
The staff are always polite and helpful.

I would thoroughly recommend Brackenbridge House to others. I have found the carers, management to be caring, helpful and cheerful at all times. Any niggly issues have been resolved quickly. The care home has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, particularly the communal lounge. My brother is happy
