Overall Experience
Clifton House care home is a lovely home and home is definitely the operative word. The owners and their staff are absolutely wonderful. The care they provide is tailored to suit each resident and allows them to have their own routine so it feels as close to home as possible. They are flexible and provide a great range of activities for the residents so that they are able to socialise and stay mentally and physically active. There is a beautiful garden with lovely spots to sit and enjoy the sunshine in good weather and residents have easy access to the outdoors with a ramp.
During the Covid period it was possible to visit by sitting outside the living room doors while Mum stayed safely inside and a good process was put in place once visiting indoors was possible.

I can't recommend this home enough.

Overall Experience

I have found the staff to be very helpful and approachable. Environment is always cleaned, odour free and welcoming. They provide good quality of service and provision of care. The residents are well cared for, the residents are involved with planning of their day to day livings. There is always a great choice of menus provided at meal times including meeting the resident's cultural needs. The residents are kept stimulated and the management invest in a lot of staff training, activities and resources to maintain a good quality of service provision. People's dignity is always maintained at all times. The residents are involved in their care and wellbeing.

I would thoroughly recommend this care home. Not being overly large, it has a lovely family feel to it, where residents have their individual needs catered for. The staff are empathetic, focused on the wellbeing of their residents, providing all sorts of activities and entertainment. I always look forward to visiting this happy home!
