My mother has been in residence at Gable Lodge for 3 years now. Every time I visit, she looks clean, smart and happy. She appears to get on very well with all the staff and the manager. As a family, we are happy to recommend Gable Lodge to any prospective new residents.

Very happy that my mum is looked after well. Gable Lodge is home from home for my mum. It's very cosy and homely and myself and my siblings are very happy that our mum is happy and safe in the care of all the wonderful staff and the manager.

My mother has been at Gable Lodge for over ten years in which time she has received first-class care. She is nearly 94 years of age and I am sure the care she has received in the past 10 years have added years on her life.

My mother moved here in December 2015. I am extremely impressed with the level of care and welcoming manner of staff. This is a vast improvement to the last care home. Mum is happy here and I completely trust the staff. The only thing that's missing is the activities or lack of stimulating activities.
Sometimes mum and other residents do note this and often feel bored. Perhaps some music "sing along" or games might help.

It is not my wish to be in a care home, but having said that, I do find that everyone involved is very friendly, helpful and caring. The home is cleaned every day, washing and ironing also done daily. Staff are the most important component and they are great and extremely patient with a sense of humour.
