My cousin has been a resident of Liberty Lodge since April 2024. She has had problems for most of her life with periods in residential care. Before moving to Liberty lodge she had spent over eight years in a larger home which was not really capable of providing the individual care that her condition required and the result was that she eventually reached a crisis and spent two months in hospital.
Fortunately, a place was found for her at Liberty Lodge and, due to the patient and sensitive care that she is given there, her life has steadily improved over the last two years or so. The staff understand that her condition can make her behaviour unpredictable, and they manage her accordingly, making sure that she is always safe and treated with respect..

It is a great comfort to me to see how well she is cared for now and know that within the limitations of her condition she is happy and enjoying her life.
