Sweetcroft Care Home is a boutique care home set in the heart of Hillingdon and Uxbridge and offers dementia care, residential care, respite and day care.

Leaving home can be a challenging time, so to ensure the smoothest transition, Sweetcroft Care Home boasts an authentic ‘home from home’ experience to help new residents settle. Offering care for only a maximum of 21, the select group of residents can comfortably interact and form new bonds.

The bedroom suites are designed to give residents luxury, privacy and independence. All rooms are spacious, comfortable and equipped with beautiful oak furniture and the majority of the bedrooms have an en-suite. All bedrooms and en-suites have a nurse call point system which offers residents rapid access to a carer 24 hours a day.

There are two separate lounges in which to socialise and enjoy the company of fellow residents. One of which is a quiet lounge, so there is plenty of opportunity for private moments by yourself or with your loved ones too.

At Sweetcroft, they recognise the importance of activities and invest a lot of time in making sure you're loved ones enjoy every day. With dedicated activities co-ordinators, there is a full programme of events on a daily basis, many of which actively encourage participation from family, friends and the local community.

In beautiful surroundings, with a team of carers who are passionate about what they do each day and by aiming for excellence in every area, the care home makes the experience of living in a care home a fantastic life experience, as well as the best place to receive exceptional care.

  • SweetCroft Residential Care Home welcomes visitors throughout the day but would recommend allowing the residents to enjoy their meal times. Please note that lunch time is from 12:30 – 1:30 pm and supper time is from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. You can meet them in the lounge, in the conservatory, in the garden or in their bedrooms. And of course you are very welcome to go out with them whenever you like.

All staff and management are wonderful. The residents appear safe, relaxed and happy. Everyone is always welcoming and friendly when I visit Mum. The care home has a homely feel and my mum is looked after very well. I would recommend it highly.

Mum has been at Sweetcroft for 3 years now. I have always found the management and staff to be friendly, caring and very helpful. The home is small and has a great family atmosphere. There are always activities going on for residents (and visitors!) to take part in. The standard of care Mum has received

As of December this year, my mum has been a resident of Sweetcroft for just over a year. In this year we have seen a dramatic improvement in her mental and physical well-being. This is down to the excellent care and attention she receives from all the staff and the inclusive environment at Sweetcroft.
We cannot praise this establishment enough.

Sadly as we are a smaller boutique care home we don’t have the same facilities that larger care homes do, however, we offer the smaller family touch, as all of our staff are full-time permanent staff who have been with us for many years. We lend ourselves more towards the ‘home from home’ experience, rather than ‘hotel style’ care homes.

The care given to my father is exemplary. The staff are very caring, and the whole place is spotlessly clean. The staff organise regular activities for the residents, and my father is very settled there.

My nan has been a resident at Sweetcroft for just over a year now. She has dementia and was unable to live on her own anymore. We were looking for a home that would give the care and love she deserves. We found it at Sweetcroft. The staff there are amazing, they really know the residents. The staff
are so patient and kind and always so happy and positive. Whenever my family and I visit there is always an activity going on. A birthday celebration, Chinese New year or Remembrance Sunday are a few examples. As a family, we are grateful for the care my nan receives, I look forward to seeing her happy and well looked after and when I leave, she waves at the window, just like she did when she was at her own home.

My father has been really well cared for. He is 95 years old and needs 24/7 care. The staff are so kind and helpful. Activities occupy the day in a fun way. I would recommend Sweetcroft Care Home with no hesitation.

All the staff and management are wonderful! They are caring, compassionate, professional and genuinely nice people. I visit regularly and the staff are always welcoming. The residents appear relaxed and happy. Besides being treated with great care and dignity, they are encouraged to take part in the
variety of activities on offer – there is also a lot of laughter! My mother is full of praise for the staff and says they can’t do enough for her. She is always complimentary about the food which is plentiful and tasty. Sweetcroft is always clean with fresh displays linked to celebrations and seasons. I think it is an exceptional care home and feel totally comfortable leaving my mother in their care.

Everyone is always welcoming and friendly when we visit. Mum is well cared for - she is enjoying the food and has a lovely, light-feel room. This care home stood out when we were looking around for a suitable place due to the friendliness of all the staff and the overall feeling of it being cosy, relaxed and secure. The rooms are a good size that provides furniture for all the clothes and belongings with the option of either a bath or shower
in the en-suite. Plus, a bedside alarm and pressure pad for nighttime in case of movement out of the bed. The activities coordinator is brilliant, and my mum is more stimulated than I have seen her for years since being a resident here.

Sweetcroft has provided excellent care for my mother since she arrived here. The staff are pleasant, enthusiastic and caring. Being a small care home, it provides a more domestic, less institutional atmosphere than other care homes we inspected. Management has adequate overviews and focuses on the operation,
contributing greatly to the overall performance.

Wonderful in every way. Having to put a loved one in a care home is tough, but Sweetcroft supported my family through the transition and settled my father in the loveliest way. The staff are truly amazing, kind, caring, fun and welcoming. My family feel blessed to have found this gem of a place. As
the residents themselves say, it is not a care home, it is a five-star hotel they are lucky enough to live in.

I'm really impressed with Sweetcroft Care Home for the care and support given to my mother since she came into the home. She is in a lovely room, overlooking the garden with her own ensuite facilities. The activities that are offered to the residents are excellent. In all the time I have been visiting
Mum, I'm very appreciative of their caring nature to all the residents from all of the staff - they are so cheerful and friendly to us visitors and in such lovely surroundings throughout the home. Mum was impressed with the food from the first week of her stay, and I've never heard her complain since.

It was a worrying time trying to find a suitable setting for my uncle. We were so glad to have found Sweetcroft and its lovely residents and caring staff. What a relief! I speak with my uncle daily, and he has nothing but praise for the staff, the food and the atmosphere. It is truly a home from home.
How care homes should be. Extremely thankful to have found the manager and his team.

Sweetcroft is a very special care home and largely because the staff are remarkable: they are highly professional, very caring and patient beyond measure. My mum and now my dad have resided in Sweetcroft for almost two years. Over this period, I have been impressed with the way in which the Sweetcroft

Harry has been in the care industry for nearly 26 years and brings with him a wide range of experience. He has worked in many varied roles at a senior level for both the NHS and private care sector. Needless to say that Harry is very highly qualified for the position as registered care home manager and looks forward to working with residents, staff and community colleagues alike.


Harry firmly believe that happy residents leads to a happy workforce and he is passionate in ensuring the highest possible standard of care is delivered. This is evident in our recruitment and retention of staff as Sweetcroft is well known for its long staff service.


Harry is determined to strive for excellence and wants the home to become a model for high standards of care not only in Middlesex, but across London. Harry is also passionate about staff training, innovation in care and person centred care for all of the residents.
