My dear late father stayed at Woodlands for a short 2 months. He had cancer of the lungs and dementia. I cannot tell you how grateful we are to the manager and the staff at Woodlands. They were incredible, kind and caring beyond their job roles. Wonderful lady let me view Woodlands with no appointment.
She called my dad Papi. The manager was so efficient and came to meet us at every opportunity before dad’s stay and during dad’s stay. He took care of everything.
My absolute gratitude goes to a lady, a pretty Somalian girl. She was with dad at the end, holding his hand and helping him to recite prayers as she could see he was passing. All the staff were family to us and dad and they threw dad a birthday party! Woodlands is more than a care home, It’s family.

My mother-in-law came to stay at Woodlands on respite care at very short notice. The manager was very understanding. The staff were amazing, so friendly and welcoming. They really do care about their residents. Room was a little dated but extremely clean and Mum was very comfortable for her stay. I
really think it won't be the last time you have her stay. Thank you!
Reply from Dinah Mokoon, Director at WoodlandsThank you for your lovely words! It was a real pleasure having your mother-in-law. We are in the process of updating some of the rooms. We would certainly love to have her stay again with us in the future.

I feel that there was not a better place for my father-in-law than Woodlands Care Home. All staff members are professional and caring. I felt welcomed each time when I was visiting and felt that the environment was friendly. There was good communication from the manager and all staff members for any
urgent matters.
He loved being at Woodlands in spite of his advanced stage of dementia and he was given very good personal care. Whenever we visited the care home, we always found him clean and in hygienic condition.
He stopped eating normal food for the last week. But the manager and all staff were trying different types of semi-solid and liquid food.
The support and care provided till the last moment of his life from Woodlands was amazing.
Reply from Mani, Manager at WoodlandsThank you for your kind words. It was a pleasure looking after your father-in-law and we all hold very fond memories of him.

I felt each time I visited my mum, I was visiting her at her home. All the love and support shown to my mum were amazing; I could not have wished for any place better. I felt welcomed each time I came and felt very much at home at Woodlands. I felt very much part of a big family.
My mum loved being
at Woodlands; she had so many friends and felt so supported.
