I highly recommend Henrietta Home for your loved ones to reside in a safe and caring home whereby the staff go above and beyond for their residents and families.
You certainly couldn't wish for a lovelier welcome and such caring staff. It's such a family feel, I love coming to visit, hope I am so well looked after when my time comes.
A special mention goes to the Activities Manager, who goes above and beyond her job arranging activities and parties for the residents and their families. The Garden Summer Party recently held at the Home was great fun - thanks to all the staff who worked so hard in creating a lovely time for the residents.
We as a family have been very impressed with the care home as a whole. Mum has settled in well and is enjoying the social contact with others in the home; plus the excellent staff. The activities keep her occupied and her mind stimulated. The flow of information to us from Henrietta House is informative and very helpful. The attitude of all staff members we have meet is always cheerful, also humorous.
Henrietta House is a very well-run, caring and safe environment in which my mum can see out her remaining days. The senior team is excellent. They are all very capable, polite and genuinely care for their residents. The Activities Manager is worth special praise for the amount of time and effort she puts in to ensure there is a wide range of options for the residents. I understand from others that much of the preparation work is carried out in her own time. The home is very well managed with the team always being available to discuss any concerns. Having visited a number of care homes before deciding upon Henrietta, I would recommend it without hesitation as it offered the best overall package for my mum by some distance.
Mum has been at Henrietta House now for nearly six months. When she first went there she called it a "hotel" and nothing has changed. She tells us that she enjoys the company, activities, food, especially the staff. She is treated with respect and dignity. Nothing is too hard for staff and management who respond quickly and efficiently to resolve matters that arise. We live the other side of the world and you might expect issues with communication but we have had excellent communication throughout. We have very favourable reports from family members and friends who visit. Thanks to the manager and her team for all they do. It makes living so far away less worrying in the knowledge that she is safe and cared for. Fantastic!
My Mum has been a resident at Henrietta House for 5 years now! Mum is declining in health and the symptoms of dementia affecting her both physically and emotionally! The kindness, support and patience the staff have for my Mother is incredible. As a family, it has been quite a roller coaster of emotions for us seeing our Mum decline! Not only do they support Mum, but us a family, nothing is too much trouble! A big thank you to the manager and staff, God bless you all.
I cannot praise the staff and management of Henrietta House enough. My mother has been there for nearly 5 years and has been looked after by many different staff and management teams, however, the care and support received by my mother, as well as us, the close family has always been fantastic. Communication has always been first-class as their promptness in relation to any medical concerns that my mother may have. I thoroughly recommend to any family looking to maybe make this their next step for a loved one.
Cannot fault the care my mother receives. Staff are always very friendly and accommodating whenever we visit and the home is kept very clean and tidy. Has been a pleasure to attend many entertainment days put on for residents and families with guest singers covering songs from various decades followed by an excellent multicultural spread of food and drink put on by the staff. Also plenty of activities arranged to keep residents motivated and active which is reflected in the amount of long-term residents at Henrietta House.
It is really nice that there are days arranged for family to come into the home and have some fun together like Christmas party and garden party and quiz afternoon.
I know I don't have to worry about Mum's care and that she is in safe caring hands.
We are a close family and would love to be able to have daddy home with us, but due to his disabilities, this is impossible. Our extended family at Henrietta House bridge that gap for us. They give warm and loving care whilst making sure he is safe, well-fed and entertained. We can ask no more.
Thank you, all the team; wishing you all a happy and healthy Christmas and New Year.
The staff is always friendly and helpful. No concerns with the care or the facilities provided to the resident. Always helpful when questions arise. Absolutely no reason to question the value or quality of the care provided.
All staff were very caring, the team were amazing with my nana and with the whole family. All staff were very professional and supportive towards all of us through a very tough time. Thank you.
Our dad was a resident at Henrietta House for eight months. Over that time, he was looked after with the greatest care and consideration. He was treated with dignity and, as a family, we were always made welcome and kept informed about dad's state of health. We will always be grateful for the way in which he was treated in the last precious months of his life. We extend our thanks to all the carers and management of Henrietta House.
I could not wish for better care than she received from all your staff during her stay with you. Thank you for making my mother's final months as comfortable and caring as possible.
She always looked lovely and every effort was given to make her feel special and loved.
Staff always went above what was expected of them.
Mum was always happy and we were always welcomed although through difficult Covid times.
We would highly recommend Henrietta House.
Being a small care home it always feels homely and welcoming. The residents have a lovely lounge in which to sit and a nice dining room where the food served is always of a good standard.
But the most important thing about Henrietta House is the staff. They are caring, kind and compassionate and will always go the extra mile to help their residents. It is a hard job to be a carer but they always do it with a smile.
Mum has settled in well at Henrietta House. The staff are all friendly and welcoming and seem to understand the various needs of all the residents. Good range of activities and a lovely homely Christmassy feel at the moment. Highly recommended.
Dad spent his final months at Henrietta House, and we couldn't have wished for a better place for him to be. From the moment he arrived, he was cared for with tenderness and dignity. The love and respect shown to him by all staff members have touched the hearts of all our family, and we will forever be grateful to them. Henrietta House helped us through what was a very difficult time for us and Dad. Thank you.
My father was a resident from late February 2022 until he sadly passed away in October 2022. My experience of dad's care at Henrietta House was outstanding. The care, love and general attention given to dad during his 8-month stay was superb, I could not find any fault. I would recommend Henrietta House to any family looking for a care home for a loved one. The staff at Henrietta House were all outstanding and were loved by my father.
