The whole idea of moving my Mum into a care home was daunting. We visited many and none felt right. From the moment we walked into Warren Lodge we knew we had found the right place. The warmth, professionalism and genuine compassion was evident immediately. My Mum was made to feel at home with staff taking time to know her interests, routines and the little things that make her smile.

The care home manager is always welcoming, approachable, and attentive. He demands the highest standards of care. Warren Lodge is always spotless, well maintained, and welcoming. Mum enjoys the food every day.

There are lots of activities ensuring the residents are stimulated socially, mentally and physically. There are regular events where families can come along and join in. Warren Lodge has an atmosphere of genuine kindness. I know that Mum is very happy, and as a family, we have total peace of mind knowing she is safe, happy and very well cared for.

The staff at Warren Lodge were notable from the very first phone call; the time they gave us, their listening skills, their understanding and knowledge as well as their kind, supportive nature.
We were looking for residential care for my mum (Parkinson's) and my dad (Alzheimer's). The two members of staff we met the most were outstanding in their care of us as a family. They were gentle with mum and dad (as were everyone) answered all of our questions, had thoughtful advice and showed kindness throughout.
We visited several times and were warmly welcomed every time. We visited many care homes but Warren Lodge shone out for us. We saw so much good practice and they had lovely ways to make it feel like a big family home, the room available was perfect for them.

Mum and dad were due to move this April but dad died unexpectedly. During this time the staff continued to be kind, supportive and helpful, they really go the extra mile. As a family we can't thank them enough.

We are incredibly grateful for the exceptional care our mother receives at Warren Lodge. From the very first day she arrived, the centre manager and his team's dedication and compassion have been evident in every interaction with our whole family. The facilities at Warren Lodge are of the highest standard, providing a comfortable and safe environment that truly feels like home for both residents and their families. The attention to detail in every aspect of care is outstanding. From the personalised medical attention to the impeccable cleanliness, the in-house chef's delicious meals, and the engaging activities that keep residents active and happy, every element reflects their commitment to running a five-star home. Knowing that our mother's well-being at Warren Lodge is their top priority gives our family peace of mind. We have complete trust and confidence in the centre manager and his care team, who consistently go above and beyond to ensure the best possible care and attention for our mother.

Mum moved into Warren Lodge in late summer 2024 shortly after Dad passed away. They had been married for 66 years. We needed somewhere that was safe, friendly, welcoming, and provided the right balance of care and independence. We looked at a number of care homes in the area and Warren Lodge was our favourite by far. A wonderful location and setting, good facilities and services, and an excellent programme of social activities. However, one thing above all others makes Warren Lodge special and that is the manager and his brilliant team. They work so hard to make this a home-from-home for the residents. We visit Mum two/three times a week and she is always happy, smiling and content. We couldn't ask for more.

My Mum has been a resident of Warren Lodge since September 2024 following the death of my Father. It was very hard for my brother and I to make the decision to move our Mum to a care home even though we knew it was the best thing for her. I can not praise all the staff at Warren lodge highly enough, from our first visit we were made to feel welcome. They were patient and understanding of all our questions and stressed that their goal is to be 'home' for their residents. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting and it really does feel like home. We know that our Mum is getting the best care, she is well looked after and we have no doubt that we made the right decision. Thank you Warren Lodge for making this transition so seamless and caring.

4 months ago we came to the difficult realisation that Mum needed professional support that we could not give. Warren Lodge has provided that - to Mum and us, with care and consideration. The individual needs of Mum are considered fully and the staff listen to Mum and us. Very grateful that we found Warren Lodge through the recommendation of a family friend.

My Nan and Grandad moved into Warren Lodge last year and it was the best thing to happen to them in years. It doesn't feel like an old people's place, as it's definitely not a sad place. We've been to lots of music events and my boyfriend came to the "Xmas Lights Switch On" evening and he said that Warren Lodge was more like a nice hotel, than a Care Home!
My Nan sadly died in November, but it was all very calm and peaceful at the end, and the staff looked after all of us so well. My Mum even stayed there for a few nights to be with Nan when she was really poorly at the end, which I know meant a lot to her to be able to do that.
I love visiting my Grandad and being able to play card games with him and it's good that there's always room for us to sit at a nice table and enjoy the afternoon cake!

Thank you to everyone at Warren Lodge for looking after us all.

Visiting someone with Dementia or on end-of-life care is never an easy comfortable undertaking for anyone, but it is different with Warren Lodge. My own mother was in a home with Dementia and, although the home she was in looked after her, there was not the level of welcome and support I and my family now experience with Warren Lodge. My Father-in-Law and Mother-in-Law have been residing for the past 8 months in Warren Lodge and its community is so friendly and understanding, have time for everyone and yet professional in what they do, whether that's with the level of food (cake), health support, building and its lovely grounds, entertainment and providing advice/ guidance, re-assurance and dignity. How they assisted my wife in preparing and dealing with my wife's mum's death is an example other homes could and should follow. They have been and continue to be amazing. We have been so lucky. Warren Lodge is number 1.

Warren Lodge is such a happy place to visit - there's always something fun going on and I know my grandad loves all the food that he gets! All the staff there are so lovely and always make us all feel so welcome. They really look after my grandad so well and they looked after my nan too in the last 6 months of her life.
It's also made such a difference to the stress levels of my mum, trying to look after my grandparents in their own home and now I feel like my mum has got some of her life back, whilst being reassured that my grandad is being so well looked after.

Some of my friends dread visiting their grandparents in their Care Homes, but I never feel like that - I look forward to going to Warren Lodge, not just to see my grandad, but to also see the staff who have become such good friends of our family.

When it came to the time we realised dad needed more care and attention than any of us could provide, Warren Lodge was the obvious choice. From the moment the manager returned our phone call regarding a visit, the love and care they provide was clear. In fact dad has not seemed so content in a long time. At Warren Lodge he feels safe and loved and is so well looked after. All the staff from the manager and admin team to the chef and carers, are so warm and welcoming and really get to know everyone as individuals. We were told we could visit anytime as they wanted the place to feel like home and sure enough we are welcome to visit at any time of the day. It has felt like we are all part of one big family and that nothing is too much trouble. I never expected to experience so much love, laughter and music in a care home. We are so grateful to have found Warren Lodge and the wonderful team that fill it. It has changed our lives for the better. A very special place indeed. Thank you.

Warren Lodge makes me so happy. I call it the happy home. My friend moved into Warren Lodge just under a year ago, she settled so well after a few weeks because of the manager and staff, they are so friendly, and really care for each individual's needs and care so much for each resident. But Warren Lodge staff don't just care for the residents, they care for us, friends and family. I visit my friend every week, nothing is too much for Warren Lodge, always a smile and so helpful if you have any concerns. My friend now sees Warren Lodge as her family and is so much more relaxed with life. I visit a few care homes and have to say this is my favourite one, I never want to leave as I just love being part of this big Warren Lodge family.

My mother has been a resident at Warren Lodge for about a year. On first meeting the manager to view it, I felt virtually instantly this was going to be 'the one'. He was so friendly, polite, professional, caring and thoughtful in his manner. Made me feel very welcome, at ease and really listened to what we were looking for. We can openly talk to him or his staff if we need anything, or to get updates on how mum is doing. The surroundings are very homely, spotless and in excellent order. The residents we saw on our initial visits looked happy, comfy and well-looked after. Since joining, my mum has been beautifully looked after too and is very settled. The manager and his staff are fantastic and have given us great peace of mind. If you're looking for a home for your relative and Warren Lodge have a room available, then I'd recommend that you snap it up as fast as you can!

My mother has been residing at Warren Lodge for over a year now. We were struck by how homely, calm and comfortable it is and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. It really stood out to us as it doesn't feel like a corporate-run business. Our mum and ourselves feel like we are part of a family. The staff are all very happy and this is reflected by their long tenures of working there. The care provided for our mum is excellent in every way. She's always clean, neat and tidy and her overall physical health has improved massively.

We are so grateful to have found Warren Lodge and we are able to rest easy knowing she's in safe hands.

My father has Alzheimer's. My sister and I looked at, and visited, a number of care homes when it came time for Dad to need full-time care. Some were caring, some were homely, but none of them were right for Dad. Then we visited Warren Lodge. Instead of the quick in and out in 10 minutes, the manager spent a few hours with us, discussing Dad's needs and what we needed as a family. There was no doubt in our mind that this was the right care home for Dad. Eighteen months later, it is still the right place. The Staff are cheerful, helpful, always greet my sister and myself by name when we visit. More importantly, they know Dad, his needs, and how to give him the best possible life. The manager meets with us whenever we have concerns. We feel heard and loved. Dad is important to him and the staff. Dad loves the large garden and the summer garden parties have given him, and us, some lovely memories of our time together. I cannot thank Warren Lodge enough for everything!

My mother had the pleasure of staying at Warren Lodge for the last 6 months of her life. As soon as you come in the front door you can feel the love. The place is spotless and everyone you meet are also very clean. The staff are amazing and so loving and caring. I cannot praise Warren Lodge enough. If I ever need care in my later years I hope I can stay in a home such as this. My mother had severe dementia. Her stay here made the family's lives so much easier and the care and love shown made it easier for us to know she was in such loving and capable hands.

My 95 year old mother has been at Warren Lodge since the end of June after 3 previous respite stays. She's very happy with the care she receives here as the staff are all so kind and caring. She has already made a couple of friends and regularly joins them for a tea and natter. She also joins in with some of the varied activities despite being in a wheelchair. I visit regularly and take her into the lovely garden where she can sit under a gazebo overlooking the grounds surrounded by open countryside. Her room also overlooks this lovely view should she just like to relax in front of her TV if the weather is bad. The manager is extremely kind, and understanding of people's needs, he goes over and above to make sure the residents are happy and well. I have also worked in a care home myself and had a good look around other homes in the area, but Warren Lodge came out on top in all areas. I can now feel more relaxed knowing that Mum is happy and well cared for.

Warren Lodge has helped me with respite care in the past, so when I was unable to care for my partner anymore, Warren Lodge was the obvious choice.
I cannot thank the staff enough for the care and attention they give to my partner with all his health problems, it is a great relief to know he is being looked after 24/7.

I am so very grateful to the manager for all his help and kindness, also all the staff, thank you all so much.

My dear friend moved into Warren Lodge in March 2024. From the very beginning she was made to feel so welcome and 'at home'. Nothing, seemingly, is too much trouble for any of the staff. Right from the start everyone at Warren Lodge took time and care to find out what interested my friend and what they could do to make her life easier and as enjoyable and interesting as possible. Warren Lodge is clean, bright and every week when I go I am also welcomed by all the staff with warm smiles and a friendly chat. Warren Lodge exudes a sense of comfort, contentment and homeliness. A place of tranquillity with a beautiful garden which my friend particularly appreciates as she was a keen gardener up until she moved to Warren Lodge.

My husband's grandmother moved to Warren Lodge around 3 years ago. She had previously spent some respite time there and knew it was the home that she would wish to move to should she need further care. She moved in during COVID and despite the restrictions that were in place we were immediately made to feel welcome as a family. The welcoming atmosphere has continued throughout her time there - we have felt loved, cared for as a family and part of WL as our Grandmother was. I have always been impressed that WL maintains a permanent staff team - this meant our Grandmother, as well as we, felt like we really got to know the staff who were caring for her, all of whom take great pride in their work. Events are held at the home (such as garden parties) where staff bring their own families to join in the celebrations and fun - this for me can be considered as a summary as the investment of staff members in the work that they do. I cannot rate Value for money as I have not had sight of this.
