The staff are outstanding - always friendly and caring. Thought and care is put into every aspect of life, and it is a real home from home. The beautiful accommodation and surroundings speak for themselves, but the respect shown to each resident is amazing. Residents are valued and prioritised, and this approach to care comes from Mibell, the manager.
In all the time I have been visiting I have never once seen a member of staff (either care or support services) who has not had a smile and time for a hello. The activities organised are wide ranging and inclusive, and the catering is superb.
I thoroughly recommend Bartletts as a safe and caring place for your loved one.
Outstanding care & support shown to all residents. The space is beautiful, open, clean and luxurious. The staff are kind, friendly and very attentive.
My mum lives with Alzheimer's & the care she's received has been nothing short of outstanding from the very beginning, the team have treated her with patience, dignity, & genuine kindness. They take the time to understand her needs, even on difficult days, & always make her feel safe & respected. It's clear that this is more than just a job to them - they truly care about the residents as individuals. The communication with our family has also been excellent & it's incredibly reassuring to know she is in such capable & compassionate hands.
We're especially grateful for the clear communication & how well we're kept informed & involved. It's reassuring to know she's not only safe, but truly cared for.
Always a plesat welcome, very friendly staff. Mum is being so well looked after which is a big relief. Thank you.
The staff and resident's all are very lovely. The care given is extremly high, nothing is to much for anyone. Paul is well provided for, cared for I couldn't ask for better staff or care home, nothing is ever to much for them. They cater for everyone's needs and wishes
In its beautiful rural setting Bartlett's really does excel in providing a unique environment in every respect for the elderly in need of care. Whether it is the comfort of the spacious and well-equipped bedrooms, the tasteful decor of the public areas, the variety and quality of meals to suit every taste and diet, the wide range of stimulating activities and events to engage residents of all abilities: all these aspects contribute to an exceptional quality of life for the elderly. There is, however, one aspect which makes Bartlett's even more exceptional and that is the ethos clearly shared by every single member of staff which focuses wholly on the physical and mental wellbeing of the resident. Nowhere have I seen such compassion and kindness being shown to those in need of care. Quite simply, Bartlett's is a beautiful care home with a heart.
Excellent.
Our experience has been that the staff at Bartlett's are very caring and compassionate and they have gone above and beyond to make Mum and Dad feel welcome and at home. They are very friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The facilities are excellent and the activities and interaction with the staff brings a great deal to their day. Making the decision as a family was not easy but it has been a very positive experience, exceeding all our expectations and we know that Mum and Dad are happy, safe and very well cared for.
Very clean and well kept property & grounds.
My mum who has parkinsons was excepted from day 1 and was made to feel at home like a family member.
Brilliant schedule of events from week to week.
Looking forward to better weather so's to enjoy the grounds.
Comforting to know Michael is in safe hands and well cared for.
Our room is spacious, there is a bell we can press to get help and we find that the response is immediate. The room is well furnished.
Hearing bad press about care services left me nervous to relinquish some of Nan's care, but Bartlett's has proved all of my worries wrong. From the moment we brought her in, the staff have been warm, welcoming, caring, attentive and kind. The home is clean, the food delicious, and the residents are provided wtih a staggering array of entertainment. I am reassured that my Nan is in excellent hands.
It means a great deal to hear that from the very beginning you felt...
The location is superb, easy to get to and still peaceful with lots of outdoor space.
The activities are numerous and in some cases unexpected, after all who expects a visit from live penguins in a care home.
Mums room is warm spacious and cosy, with some of her own furniture to make it home.
Your kind words about our staff will be...
My mother has been at Bartletts since June 2023, and the level of care is excellent. The staff are brilliant. She enjoys her time and her needs are well taken care of, with visits to the theatre and local garden centres most weeks. Anything she needs is always accommodated. I cannot thank the staff enough for everything they do.
Your words about our team will mean a great deal to them. Providing attentive,...
This place is excellent and caters for al our manifold needs! The staff are all very good and always meet our needs! The accomodation is excellent and meets all my needs! My family are always wellcome and keep in touch which helps me keep in touch with all that is going on at "home"
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We're delighted to hear that you feel well supported and that the team is meeting your needs so consistently. It's wonderful that your family feel welcome too - maintaining those connections is so important, and we're glad the home helps make that easy for...
My husband David and I came to Bartlett's about 5 months ago. It took a short while to 'settle down' and aclymatise to our new surroundings. But we have been so lucky! We have a spacious twin beded room with everything we need and an en suite bathroom. Also, because we are all on the ground floor, we have a patio door on to a beautiful garden which we love to walk in. And the people who look after us are wonderful and we are so grateful
It's lovely to know that you're enjoying the garden and being...
There is a wide range of daily activities on offer including a variety of regular outings. Dad enjoys the social aspect of eating meals in the dining area " the meals are very good & tasty".
The rural aspect of Bartlett's was important to Dad and he likes spending time outside. The few queries I have had have always been answered promptly either in person or by email. As a relative I have been made to feel very welcome, and can visit Dad at any time or take him out. Knowing that Dad is happy, safe and well looked after has been a huge relief.
We're truly pleased to hear how well your dad has settled and that he regularly tells you how happy he is. Helping people feel welcomed, comfortable and at home from the very...
I never had concerns for any aspect of his care & cannot recommend Bartlett's highly enough at every level.
Mum has been a resident at Bartletts for nearly 4 years now; in that time her Alzheimer's has slowly continued to eroded her memory, mobility and cognitive function but despite this she continues to be very happy there. The staff are very caring and encourage Mum to join in the many activities they have each day. Eating has become a little challenging for her and so meals are adapted so that she can more easily pick food up with her fingers. When Mum first moved into Bartletts she loved to walk around outside in the beautiful grounds; a feature that is particularly outstanding at Bartletts. She is now wheelchair-bound and we are not sure how much she can see but she is appreciative of the kind, compassionate and loving care she receives every day. As a family, it gives us such peace of mind to know that Mum is being so well cared for; a cherished resident. I really wish that Mum wasn't having to go through this deterioration but she is in the best possible place for 24/7 quality care
