After viewing several care homes in the area, we decided on Bartlett's straight away. On arrival, we were greeted by a very caring team who went above and beyond to make Mum welcome. Since then, we have found excellent, continuing care by every one of the staff. In early September, a small number of our family visited our mother on her birthday. When we arrived at Bartlett's, we were greeted by one member of staff, who led us out to the garden where a large table had been laid complete with a beautiful centrepiece of flowers, and we were served tea, and birthday cake was brought out.
My father was at Bartlett's from November 2018 until he passed away on the 26th of June 2022, and all four of us siblings could not have been happier with the way our lovely dad was cared for, and we were also all very well looked after by the Bartletts team, thank you, thank you, thank you.
The staff are very friendly and helpful in all matters. The standards are very high. Residents and families are treated like one big family. Everyone has time to stop and talk, which is very important in a care home environment.
My father has been a resident since November 2019. The care has been exceptional during his whole time. It is like a home-from-home environment. The team are so caring, professional and compassionate. Knowing that my father is being cared for has always been an absolute feeling of trust that he is being well looked after. Not only is my father well cared for, but his family too whilst we are seeing him go through end of life. The team have been wonderful in meeting Dad's and our needs.
Thank you Bartlett's.
I had passed by Bartlett's on my way to visit my mum for many years. It was on my radar, but I never took a close look, except online. I was really impressed by what I saw and read. During the Covid pandemic, Mum had a fall, and it was decided she was unable to live alone anymore. Bartlett's had space, and we did a Zoom tour. It looked perfect for Mum, and so we suggested she gave "the cruise ship, on land" a try. Mum has now been a resident for well over a year. Even with the many Covid restrictions, the level of care has been exceptional. The staff treat every resident not only as a "family" member but also as an individual and tailor their care according to changing needs. Staff are always happy to help, and the atmosphere, in all respects, is great. The gardens and views are fantastic! I have no hesitation in recommending Bartlett's, in fact, I already have.
Bartlett's Care Home is truly outstanding in every way. My mother could not have been looked after any better in this wonderful nurturing environment. The staff are magnificent and the surroundings are clean and calming, not to mention the exquisite grounds.
I can't recommend Barlett's Residential Care Home highly enough. My mother has lived there for two years and has been very happy. Her physical and mental needs are extremely well cared for. The staff are all outstanding.
My mum was a resident for just over two years. The care provided was exceptional, with nothing being too much trouble. The staff treated Mum with dignity and respect, ensuring she was comfortable and settled at all times. We, as a family, always received a warm welcome when visiting; it was like a home from home. Thank you for everything you did; you are a credit to your profession.
My brother-in-law was very well looked after and was very happy residing here. I would recommend this home as they take great care to let them join in all the activities they want to.
The most amazing care home. We as a family are so pleased that mum is lucky enough to have a place at Bartlett's, we could not recommend it more highly. So much is organised for the residents and they are treated with much respect and affection.
My mother has resided in this home for over five years, she is happy and settled. The care workers are all kind and caring. We as a family are kept informed and always feel that she is looked after in the best possible way. They know her so well they can recognise any change in her health and react accordingly.
Have ticked all boxes with excellent which more than refelts my experience of this home. Very caring staff, always pleased to see visitors and include them in activities. Nothing too much bother.
Lovely location, caring staff with a "Bartlett's family" atmosphere. Excellent activities.
Mum has been very happy at Bartlett's and we are really pleased we chose it as her residential home. Mum's room is very nice with a wonderful view. She has all the facilities she needs. The grounds are beautiful and extensive. Mum has been able to benefit from the lovely weather and enjoys being taken outside. All the staff have been very kind and caring and they have looked after Mum very well. We have very much appreciated all their help. Activities are laid on and Mum has taken advantage of them from time to time.
We have nothing but praise for the care and attention received by our mother at Bartlett's. Every member of staff was always friendly and welcoming. In the early days, we enjoyed some lovely walks with mum in the grounds and were all able to appreciate the surroundings at summer parties. We had some delicious lunches with mum and the chef cooked vegetarian meals especially for us. When we took her away for an outing mum wouldn't remember Bartlett's at all but as soon as we returned she relaxed and felt at home. Bartlett's was a perfect place for mum.
The care and attention my wife and I are receiving are exceptionally good and I would recommend this lovely residential home to anyone looking to find somewhere to place their loved ones. It is situated in beautiful countryside with a view of the Chilton Hills and has lovely gardens and trees.
All aspects of the home are fantastic, from the comfort of the living spaces to the attentiveness of the staff. I couldn't have asked for my nan to have spent the final few years of her life in such a happy, caring and comfortable place. Thank you.
I chose Bartlett's Residential Care Home for my aunt in 2013. She was welcomed when she arrived and helped to settle over the following weeks during which she was rather confused and disorientated but she settled and had been very content here ever since. The staff are respectful and kind at all times and always make time for both residents and visitors. The home is very welcoming and clean and safe and staff always make the effort to be welcoming at all times both day and night. Bartlett's Residential Care Home is very much a home and I am very very pleased with the care my aunt received for the final years of her life.
Exceptionally good facilities. All of the staff are very friendly and caring to residents and their families. The care given to residents is great.
