Broomhills

I didn't want to put Mom into a care home, I don't think anyone wants to do that. I was told about Broomhills so I went and visited the home. I was met by a very caring staff. The home itself is excellent, with constant care and attention for Mom. I cannot praise Broomhills enough, excellent home.

My mother-in-law spent 2 years 4 months in Broomhills Care Home. She received excellent care during this time. The manager and her staff supported my mother-in-law with patience, understanding and dignity. As a family, we always felt we had the staff's support in some very difficult situations. It is a very homely care home with a friendly atmosphere. Well done everyone.

I have nothing but praise for the staff at Broomhills. There always seems to be plenty of staff around if you need help. All the staff are friendly, helpful and very caring. Residents are treated with dignity and respect. Thank you so much for your support. I highly recommend Broomhills care home.

My brother has been in this home for a few months now. He feels very comfortable with his surroundings and staff. He tells me the staff are friendly and very supportive with his needs. All staff encourage him to get involved with all activities they put on. Any questions or support that I need, management and staff are always available to help.

My sister has just moved into Broomhills as she has MS and unfortunately getting progressively worse. We have found the staff very helpful and kind and willing to make my sister as comfortable as possible. It is always lovely and clean and there always seems to be staff around if you need them. My sister is completely bedridden and incontinent so needs special care which she is getting! She has lived on microwave meals for the last few years having carers four times a day But now she is already looking better for the fresh food and variety she is getting. It all looks really appetising when she gets it having been there visiting at meal times. So far we are very pleased with her care and cannot fault the staff.

Overall, we have nothing but praise and thanks to the whole team at Broomhills Care Home. During one of the most difficult times and decisions we had to make regarding Mum's ongoing care, the staff have supported both Mum, my dad, who had to take her in, and me during the transition - she has settled well and is living safely, with dignity and above all, care. We are so grateful that we found this wonderful place for her.

My aunt has come into Broomhills from a warden controlled flat. She is bed-bound due to multiple sclerosis and the transition in moving her was excellent. She has settled in nicely at Broomhills and is enjoying the food and has also commented that the staff are very attentive and friendly. All in all, we are very satisfied and hope the level of care continues.

Up to November last year both my parents were residents at broom hills, the care my mum received after her passing was extremely exceptional. She was thought of as everyone's family member. My dad is now alone, but i never feel he is ignored he is taken out and always treated with dignity respect and affection. Brim hills is his family and i can see he feels safe and cared for 24/7. Thank you.

Dad's experience here has been good, everyone is very helpful and I feel looked after. Food is lovely too.

I have been here three years in October, I find staff good and helpful.

The care home is of an extremely high standard and the staff are so courteous to me. They go out of their way to reassure me.

My father loved seeing the resident cat and other pets that came to visit.

The concern shown by all the staff gives our family comfort in knowing Dad is safe and being looked after.

This home is as good as it gets. All the staff are caring and hardworking. My mum has always been looked after and well cared for.

My grandmother became a resident in December 2022. She came in from a hospital stay and was struggling to walk. She was eating poorly and was withdrawn. In the time she has been here, she has transformed in lots of ways. She attends knitting club, has her hair done, has started walking again and has gained weight. We are very pleased with the care she's received.

The staff and people in care work together where possible to look out for each other and assist in caring. It's an excellent, caring facility, and it's keeping me very happy and well. Thank you, Brommhills.

The care and patience given to my mum to help her to eat and walk again after two weeks in hospital has been outstanding. Thank you.

I found the staff extremely helpful and caring. My mother and father have settled in well. They have been taken out on several occasions by the caring staff (ten-pin bowling and cycling).

I can't thank Broomhills enough for the care they gave my relative. Very friendly caring staff. Lots of activities and interaction. Bedrooms are very clean and tidy. I would recommend this home to anyone.
