Broomhills

My dad has been extremely well cared for during the two years he has been a resident at Broomhills. The staff are all very caring and he is very happy there. We couldn't have wished for a better home for him.

Mum has been at Broomhills since November 2020. The staff/carers are extremely helpful, kind and patient.

Having not been in the building for the last 11 months I have no reason to question their previous standards.

I am happy for my mother to come to you as my mother-in-law stayed with you for a few years. Happy memories which made me think of your home.

I've ticked all excellent, some of the questions are difficult to answer as due to Covid I've not been inside the home. What I have seen I am extremely pleased with and all the staff are very helpful and pleasant.

A very big thank you to the staff at Broomhills residential care in Rochford Essex. My mum has been a resident there for 2 years and the care she receives is exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they always have time for me when I visit, answering any questions I may have. In this particularly difficult time they have kept me informed and offered me visiting times when possible. Broomhills is spotlessly clean, bright and cheerful. Anyone looking for a care home for a loved one could do no better than Broomhills. Once again a big thank you.

Very pleased with the care.

Dad receives very good care and attention. As a family, we are involved and made welcome. Communication is good.

Every visit, am treated the same as the last and kept updated all the time. Never a chore, always a pleasure on visits. Nice and pleasant place and people.

My Nan has been here at Broomhills for about a year now. She really didn't want to go into a care home but she really did need more care and staying in her flat was not safe for her. Broomhills are so very welcoming and really do look after her and care for the residents. Nan eats well and has made some nice friends. The staff really do go above and beyond what is expected of them, this really puts our minds at rest.

Broomhills is best likened as a home from home. The staff are excellent and show nothing but kindness and tolerance towards my Mum, who must be very trying at times. Seriously if needs be I would not be unhappy to think of my final years there. During Covid they have been so understanding. I have phoned every day to speak to Mum and not once was I made to feel a nuisance.

My husband is well cared for at Broomhills. The staff is always on hand to help. The staff are friendly, kind, and helpful. The home always keeps me updated. I am able to talk to my husband on the phone regularly. It has been lovely that I can visit my husband in the garden today. After 47 years of marriage, we have missed seeing each other due to the Covid virus.

I honed the care home to arrange an appointment to visit my Uncle, as was the procedure during the Covid-19 pandemic. I was immediately reassured by the knowledgeable and confident reply I received. A time and date were confirmed immediately. When we arrived a member of staff brought my Uncle to us very promptly. There was constant interaction between us all and a staff member helped to make the visit very special.

My mum has been in the care of Broomhills for about three and a half years. During this time, I believe my mum has had wonderful care from the lovely staff who always do their utmost to make residents happy and comfortable. I last visited my mum just before lockdown, and it’s been very hard not being able to see her but, I completely understand the importance of that and cannot praise enough the manager and all the staff for taking excellent care of my mum during this horrendous time and keeping her safe and well. I’ve had a few Facetime calls with Mum and I actually chatted through the window at the weekend and I was so happy to see her and she was happy to see me. Huge thanks to all at Broomhills, you’re amazing.
