My mother is very happy in Croft House. She likes the food and the entertainment. Her medical needs are carefully monitored and the staff are kind and caring.
I find that nothing is too much trouble and enquiries are replied to satisfactorily. If there have been any problems, I have been contacted by phone and informed if it is urgent or not. The staff are particularly friendly and helpful at any time. Nothing unsatisfactory to relate to in my opinion.
Carers are always so good when looking after my dad, they engage him in conversation and ensure that he has everything he needs. They were also very understanding when he became frustrated at times because of his restrictions. The management team have all been so helpful with the transition.
Incredibly friendly, professional and courteous staff who treat residents with great kindness and respect. Visitors always welcomed warmly too.
My mother has been a resident 6 years. We have seen a number of managers come and go, some good, some definitely not. We are extremely hopeful with the new manager. The whole place has a different feel of friendliness and the staff seem so much happier which all reflects on the residents.
Some staff are particularly kind and caring and during my mother's recent illness the nursing staff were excellent.

The only thing about Croft House is the lack of parking but that is a problem everywhere nowadays.

I was always made to feel welcome, whatever time I visited and for whatever length of the visit. Thank you, Croft House for making the last weeks of his life the best that he could have asked for.

It is always a pleasure to visit my friend in Croft House Care Home. The staff are so nice and friendly and I always get a warm welcome from the receptionist who is always so cheerful and smiling. My friend says it's like being in a hotel and couldn't wish for more.

The fact of the matter is Mum will never be happy here. This is not a reflection on this care home as I have indicated below, It simply means that she is not the type of person who would settle in any care home.

Very good but food could be a lot better. 2-week menu cycle is not good but this has been mentioned and hopefully this will improve.

My mother arrived at Croft House just before Christmas 2014 needing temporary care. Within a month she has decided to stay on full time having previously wanted to remain in her own home. What she liked was the compact home from home nature of the place. The staff are friendly and professional and the facilities meet her needs. With a range of health issues she has the care and medical facilities to hand while never feeling like she is living in an institution.
