Goldenley is a really friendly and welcoming home. It is very homely as well. The carers are amazing and they really do care about the people in the home. The home is very good and it is very clean. There are a couple of rooms you can go into when visiting so that you have a bit more privacy with your
loved one. We would recommend Goldenley without a doubt.

This environment is unlike any care home I have ever experienced. The atmosphere is very welcoming, warm and extremely friendly, the staff are an absolutely amazing bunch of people - nothing is ever too much trouble. My grandparents are so well cared for by all staff who are very professional, caring,
polite and courteous. My grandparents are really happy with living there, the fact that they have a choice between two meals is brilliant, the standard of food is fantastic and there are always plenty of drinks and snacks available. The activities that are laid on are both entertaining and engaging and when visitors such as the animals and the Elvis singer comes in to visit my grandparents are in their element - my nan especially enjoys the local children coming in and reading together. The facilities are also brilliant, there is a little Tea Room and Pub which is perfect when you need a bit of space as a family. It is a wonderful, welcoming place to visit. Thanks for everything you do.

I just wanted to thank everyone for the past year's care for my mother in law. Great effort and such wonderful care for all of the residents that you care for.
It's clear to see how much everyone loves their job and also the people they care for. You have an amazing team and the whole place just has
a wonderful feel. My children have also said it's the nicest and cleanest home they have ever been in. I really recommend anyone to go here for care. Thank you all.

My nan became unwell overnight and the senior carer was fantastic. Very caring towards my nan. The care that my nan gets from all. The care staff are outstanding.

My aunt and uncle moved in during May 2019. They settled very quickly and have only been positive and complimentary about all staff. They are encouraged to take part in activities by the excellent activity worker. I feel they are well cared for and have certainly seen some improvements in both their

The team at Goldenley cared for my mother for seven years or so until her death. End of life care is exceptional. They are an extraordinarily empathic, professional team who invest so much in their residents. The home is always clean and busy although there are areas set aside if you want some quiet
time with your family. My mother felt happy for the most part and safe in the place that she considered as her home. Communication is excellent. It is a homely place, there is nothing institutional about it. A home-cooked menu and all tastes are catered for- tea, coffee, cold drinks etc are always available. Visitors are always welcomed, above and beyond is their normal.

My nan is well looked after and has a good quality of life. Love our family gatherings in the 1940's lounge and afternoon tea in the cafe. Staff are lovely and always helpful.

I love visiting my nan at Goldenley. The home is always very welcoming and nan is always well presented and contented. It's such a lovely idea to have visitor lounges so we can have some quality one to one time with nan. She loves having a coffee and cake with us in there. The home is always clean and
smelling sweet at any time of the day, which is a huge selling point from my perspective.

I was extremely pleased with the care my husband received while in Goldenley care centre. his visitors told me how contented he was and how impressed they were by the care centre and the staff. I intend using the centre for future respite care for my husband.

Goldenley Care Home is a fantastic care Home. They looked after my aunt until she sadly passed and the care received was brilliant.


The staff are always very welcoming and accommodating.


The events they arrange for family and friends are always well received. I would definitely recommend Goldenley

I find the carers are always on the ball, and the office staff and medical staff are very helpful with any problems the arise. The cleaners are also working non stop to keep the place spotless.

Having both parents with different needs I see all the sides of care. No one that works at Goldenley lacks in their care and dedication to their job. My mother's dementia and my father's mobility issues give all the staff challenges. Goldenley staff are always professional and give 100% to what they

My mother has been a resident at Goldenly for the last 7 years. I visited several other homes when deciding which would be best for her needs. I was worried that I would not make the right choice. I had no need to worry she has been very happy living there. I am very confident she is being well looked
after. The staff always contact me if there is need to and I feel assured she is being well looked after. I would have no problem recommending this home to potential residents or there relatives.

I cannot praise this place and its staff enough. My mother had been a resident now for approx 4 years and the staff have coped with a very private and quite often unsocial lady.
They all understand her needs and allow her space and privacy but at the same time, watch out for her needs and requirements.
When
she has been poorly, I am always informed and the greatest of care has been to shown to her.
Her hygiene, health and eating habits are all taken care of to a high standard again with lots of interaction with myself.
Also the way they have thought of family's visiting. Providing a bar, tea room and lounge is wonderful.
Mum does not really participate in activities through her own choice although she is always encouraged. However, I know there is always lots going on for residents that do.
If I ever end up in a care home I would like to think it would be a happy, safe, caring establishment such as Goldenley.

What a wonderful care home this is. All the family loved coming here to see their mum (in my case wife). The staff were excellent and the way they cared for the varying needs of the residents was exceptional. We felt that our loved one was in really good hands and we were sorry when doctors decided
she needed to be 'reassessed' in hospital.
