My Dad has been at Goldenley for nearly four years, he's looked after very well. The staff are fantastic and treat all residents with compassion.

Goldenley is a friendly and welcoming care home. The staff are extremely efficient and caring towards their residents. They are very aware of the individual needs of everyone. All residents are treated with dignity, respect and friendliness. As a family, we all are made to feel welcome and can visit
my mum whenever we want to and at any time of the day. We are always kept informed about the needs and requirements of my mum and are always invited to any meetings or care plan discussions.


Staff go out of their way to entertain and stimulate the residents - from keep fit, to craft activities to sing a longs (if the resident wants to participate of course!) Goldenley is a lovely place and we feel very lucky that Mum is cared for, cherished and kept safe in this warm and happy environment.

Since my mother was welcomed into the home some months ago it was a great relief to see how happy and content she was being there and seeing first hand how caring, approachable and professional all the staff are. On one occasions when she became very unwell the response from the care team was second
to none and they looked after her immediate needs until paramedics arrived very impressive! After a visit, it is comforting to know that our parent is being looked after by a great team giving the best care, dignity and compassion in a family atmosphere.

I just wanted to register my thanks to all the staff at Goldenley. My mother was cared for there for approximately three and a half years following the death of my father. She had Alzheimer's and although it was very difficult to visit her both practically and emotionally, my family were always impressed
with the care and compassion shown by the staff there. Although our mother was unable to really say how she was treated, we could always see that the staff cared for the people there with patience and dignity, in what must be a very difficult job for them. My mother recently passed away and a member of staff attended the funeral service which was very touching. Thanks again to everyone there.
