I visit my mum often 2 x per week. I always find the staff pleasant and very pleased to see me, as a former nurse for over 30 years, I am hypervigilant on staff interactions. I am happy to say I have nothing to confirm me.

My husband became a resident at Madelyne Court in June 2025. In the eleven months to his passing, he received exceptional care from Hannah and her team. He enjoyed his time at the home, and he would proudly tell his visitors, 'This is my home now. ' I am very grateful for the kindness and compassion he was shown, and the respect and dignity he was given. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I am extremely pleased with the care my Mother is receiving at Madelayne Court. The staff are attentive and are always putting on activities. They keep me informed of any changes with Mum's health which is reassuring. Another great touch is they take them on outings which my Mum enjoys. Thank you to everyone at the home.

From the minute my husband went into Madelayne Court, he has been relaxed and content. Without exception the staff have been really fantastic, accepting of his funny little quirks, they obviously know each of the residents, and treat them as individuals. I was impressed with the degree of dignity shown to residents at all times. Thank you one and all for the love and care you extend to my husband and our family. I never expected to be able to hand over his care and feel happy.

Our uncle had been a resident of Madelayne Court for twenty eight months up until his passing. Throughout this period my brother and I saw only the most genuine levels of empathy and care from everyone, this includes the team on the floor and the domestic staff.

Prior to my uncle residing at MC, my brother and I had visited many homes and it is our opinion that the service, conditions and care levels provided by it's management and staff are exceptional. We would both highly recommend this care home.

I was happy for my mother to be accommodated there. The friendliness and knowledge of the staff along with the overall cleanliness and comfort of the bedrooms and communal areas, again confirmed my confidence. Overall the accommodation seems to be kept clean and tidy however the residents are not changed regularly enough in my opinion. It often stinks as soon as you walk along the corridors, to the point of gagging. My mother was often soaked through when we visited. I spoke to other families who had the same complaint. It would be nice (if hopeful!) to have better staff retention and much higher training standards but the system seems to be deliberately going to pot. Also, Coronation St blaring from the TV is appalling entertainment for anyone, let alone dementia patients. Calming nature programs or music from the 1950s/60s or anything calming would be much more appropriate.

I want to thank all the staff for the wonderful care they gave my mum. She was lucky enough to die at home. Madelayne Court was her home for the last year of her life, and there she felt, safe cared for and very happy. Thank you for looking after Mum and making all who knew her so welcome.

I can't thank the staff at Madelayne Court enough for the sensitive and caring way they looked after Mum for the time she was with them, which was almost a year.
The staff are very approachable and the carers know the residents in their care very well and treat them as people, not just residents.
They also treat visitors in the same manner and we got to know a lot of the staff very well. They are very approachable and always happy to discuss anything you might want to. Even if it's just a chat.

I would definitely want to be a resident here myself if I ever needed this type of care.

My Mother was extremely well cared for by the staff at Madelayne Court. They are a very professional team who really care about all of their residents. Mum had a lovely bedroom always well presented and very clean.
When she was still well enough, she was able to participate in a range of activities including day trips.
All of the family were very well informed about Mum throughout her stay and we were always made very welcome whenever we visited.

I was always very happy that Mum was being well looked after and I would unreservedly recommend Madelayne Court.

My mum has lived at Madelayne Court for 2 years and every day she is made to feel at home by all the staff. There are many opportunities for social interaction/activities and this helps Mum settle. My father and I visit regularly and again are made very welcome. All staff I have met are dedicated and the management team are very effective and keep me informed of any change with my mum. Thank you.
