My mother has been here since May 2015. We have always found the home to be clean and tidy. The staff are kind and respectful to the residents and family too. Despite Mum having physical as well as memory problems, she is well looked after and nothing is too much trouble. She is happy and we are satisfied that she is receiving the 24 hour care she needs.

All staff from domestic to manager do a grand job. The main problem I believe to be there are not enough day carers although they do the best they can. The care home always smells pleasant. All the staff are friendly, approachable and always ready to help.

Carers are all down to earth and very helpful, so are the rest of the staff.
Food could do with some improvement more variety.

Everyone says hello. Everyone is cheerful. I feel I am in my husband's home and it is a home. Recently he had a fall, we had a horrible hospital experience. On our return the staff wrapped themselves around us like a warm blanket, toast, hot drinks, a bath for my husband. I feel confident that he is cared for. It is that confidence, knowing that he is cared for that enables me, after ten long years to embark on a life for me. Huge thanks to everyone at Madelayne Court.

We came for the summer BBQ. There was plenty of entertainment including a singer. It was lovely to see my nan and the rest of the residents so happy and enjoying themselves. My nan even came and danced with me and my mum. It was a lovely afternoon and one that I will remember.

My dear cousin passed away on the 9th March 2019 at 2am. We received a call saying we needed to go now, which we did. My cousin was made extremely comfortable, was clean and had been very well cared for in every aspect.
She had been in the home for almost 6 years. In this time she had received the utmost care, love, attention and respect. We wish to thank all staff for the way in which she had been looked after.
My cousin loved the home and all the staff within it, she settled from day one of moving in.

Our most grateful thanks to everyone.

I just want to thank the staff who have looked after my Dad whilst he has been in temporary care. Their care and dedication is outstanding and such a relief that he has been looked after so well. He is now moving into a permanent room at the home which we as a family are so grateful for as we know he will be well cared for and looked after. Thank you again.

Mum has been in this care home for more than 10 years and has been extremely well looked after in our opinion.
We think that activities could be more frequent and perhaps music or old films played as a change from constant TV.

Also, it would be nice if residents could be taken into the garden on warm, sunny days if staffing levels allow.

My Mother has always received the very best care and attention from all the staff.

She has often told us how happy she was to be at Madelayne Court and even in stressful situations, the staff have always behaved professionally and with compassion - I consider them all to be extensions of our family and congratulate them on their efforts.

I have been working at Madelayne Court since 2016, after previously being employed in retail, and I felt like I needed a change.
