During the short period of time to date, overall we are very happy with all care, compassion and thoughtfulness. Not always an easy job but so far, all care has been undertaken in a gentle, encouraging and cheerful manner. The recent outing in the minibus was particularly enjoyed as it made such a refreshing
change to see different surroundings and also a reminder of happy memories of the local area, all of which lifts the spirits! Many thanks so far!

My client has been a resident at Mansion House for 5 years or more. He is very happy there. They are proactive with him and quick to meet his needs, both physical and mentally.
He is quite happy and wishes to remain a resident.

My father's introduction to this home was as an emergency case, just under 2 years ago, after a bad fall and to be honest, we didn’t hold out much hope for him. However, due to their diligence and professional approach, the staff managed to pull him through and he soon went on to become one of the characters
that make these places the micro-communities that they are.

Sure he could be a bit of a handful and he still had a few falls but he positioned himself by the front door, keeping an eye on what was going on. He had a sharp remark for anyone he thought deserved it. At that age, you don’t care. His 2 weeks turned into 22 months and they were probably the best 22 months he had had for a long time, thanks to the care he received here.

After looking at several care homes I was delighted to find this one. It is just what I was looking for: very kind, caring staff; delightful rooms with en-suite facilities; a selection of day rooms; pleasant dining rooms; beautifully maintained building and grounds. The food is very good with choices
which can be adapted to needs. It is run very efficiently, with sensitivity to both residents and families alike.

The standard of care was excellent as always. The care staff are compassionate and excel in their duties. As a previous member of staff at the home, I know the care is second to none and this is why I chose Mansion House for my mother's respite.

My mother was admitted to Mansion House in October 2015 at age 94. As a family we were anxious about how she would settle into her new life in a new home. We had no reason to be concerned. She was made very welcome by management, carers and other residents.
She is very well cared for by really outstanding
staff and carers who are both professional and fun with it. I have observed at close quarters the homes care for all of it's residents and all are treated equally with dignity and respect. The home has a great family feel to it and my mother has happily settled in. I enjoy my visits to see her and the other residents.

Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5
My 91 year old brother-in-law was admitted to Mansion House in February 2015, as he was no longer capable of caring from himself and needed 24 hour care. He was made very welcome and had a very pleasant bright room. He was encouraged to bring with him any personal items he wanted. He died on 6th November
2015, but during his stay at Mansion House he was very well looked after, especially during the last month when his health deteriorated. Whenever my wife and I visited he was always clean and comfortable and had nothing but praise for the staff who looked after him.
