Redbond Lodge

My brother and I visit unannounced weekly - the home is clean and well run - the staff always at hand. No distressing incidents. The manager is very open and helpful and clearly very competent at running a challenging home. Dad's new helper is an absolute angel. She has made such a positive impact on Dad at this difficult stage - she deserves a medal. I can't think of a better place for the father we so love.

From the first day that she came to home we have been really happy with her care. The staff are very caring and I know if there any problems they let me know straight away. We have no worries as we know she is being looked after. I would definitely recommend Redbond Lodge they really look after and care.

The care here is professional and they respond promptly whenever help is needed. The food is nutritious and served on time. I highly recommend it to others.

Our Mum was at Redbond Lodge for just over a year until she died recently. After not being able to look after herself at her previous accommodation due to health issues, her goal was to get to Redbond Lodge, where she finally got to. Every time I visited my Mum, all the staff were kind, courteous, considerate and helpful towards my mother. Once Mum settled in, due mainly to all the friendly and helpful staff, she really enjoyed her stay at Redbond Lodge, with the various activities and days out, making some new friends and meeting up with some old ones. The accommodation was always clean and tidy and I cannot praise all the staff highly enough, they all do a brilliant job. Thank you all for looking after our Mum.

I wanted to write to thank you and your team for all the wonderful care you gave mum during her time at Redbond Lodge. During her stay mum was particularly taken with the staff. She was always complimentary about them. Mum loved the activities that the life style co-ordinator put on for the residents. She also loved the external trips, particularly Clacton and Meadowcroft Christmas market. I'd like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love, care, respect and dignity shown to mum during her time with you.

I was very impressed with the quality and the care within the home. Mum received excellent care, and many of the staff went over and above in their care, especially Mum's key carer. Thanks again to all.

From the first day of residence, my mum and I have had a good experience with Redbond Lodge and all its staff, including the kitchen. We have been fully updated with COVID jabs, doctor appointments, Mum's health overall and moving rooms in her best interest. Mum is also able to phone me with assistance if gets upset. I have recommended Redbond Lodge to other people as excellent.

My mum moved into Redbond Lodge in January 2024. The staff have been amazing in helping her settle in at a difficult time for the family. Mum cannot fault the staff. She is very satisfied with Redbond. She has enjoyed the activities, loved the live entertainment and the food is very good. Mum has a gluten-free diet which has been taken care of. I would recommend Redbond, it is a very friendly and homely environment for residents.

During the time my wife has been a resident of Redbond Lodge I have been greatly impressed with the warm and friendly interaction between residents and every level of management and staff. I know how difficult it has been for me to deal with my wife's wishes and needs but the smooth and friendly way adopted at Redbond Lodge has been an education to me. It also explains why so many past retired staff members are proud to be associated with the place. I would like to congratulate everyone involved in achieving such a remarkably successful community spirit and long may it continue.

The care home is beautifully decorated and clean. The care staff are all very caring and courteous towards residents and family, always willing to talk and discuss any needs of their loved ones.

My mum is always very happy when we arrive and has her favourite spots to sit in. The home is bright, airy and all staff are so welcoming and happy. The gardens are lovely. We've just finished eating a very nice dinner with Mum. The staff are all so friendly, family-orientated and have a great sense of humour. Nothing is too much trouble. My dad has been at the home since 2019. He has been looked after very well, and the family think the home is perfect for him. He is always treated with dignity and the food and care are great.

When you walk in the door at Redbond Lodge, it is so clean and welcoming. The management and staff are friendly, kind and caring. There are plenty of activities to get involved in if you want to. All the residents are extremely well cared for and there is no better place for Mum to be.
