Both my parents have been residents in Redbond Lodge. My father passed away last year. Both parents have had great care and support in spending time with each other. The home is clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. My mum has been in the home six years or more. She has complained a few times about
the meals. I have always had good communication with the management, in dealing with any issues regarding my parents. Thank you to all the staff at Redbond Lodge.

The care home is by far superior to many I have been in. The staff are extremely polite and willing to help at all times. Mum is thriving since coming to Redbond Lodge. She has interaction with lovely people now. She's put on weight and had her hair done. All in all, we as a family, cannot praise Redbond

My husband has been receiving excellent care, he is happy and settled in Redbond. When he needed new glasses, it was all arranged by staff and he now has his new specs.
During a recent outbreak of COVID, he was kept safe and didn't contract the virus.
I am very happy with his treatment and have
no worries for his safety.

My father has been a resident at Redbond Lodge for two years and during that time he has been cared for in a safe and clean environment by helpful and efficient staff. He has dementia and Parkinsons disease and consequently has to use a wheelchair, but the staff are keen to offer him activities that
he can participate in that are within his capabilities. He enjoys the meals and he is regularly offered suitable drinks and snacks if needed during the course of the day. As a family, we are kept fully informed about his health and any change of circumstances and feel that if there are any matters we need to bring to the attention of staff when we visit, that those matters are promptly resolved. He had reached the point that he could not manage in his own home, notwithstanding family help and carer visits, and there is no doubt that being a full-time resident in this care home has proved to be a necessary but positive step for his health and well-being.

My mother has been in the home for 3 years.
Throughout this time, she has been well cared for and the staff team has treated her with sensitivity and dignity. The home has a welcoming, friendly and communicative atmosphere and provides an overall excellent level of support and care for Mum.

The staff are all really friendly to my grandad and me. They have gone above the normal level of care. They helped him settle in really well and are always on the phone/email if I need them. He loves watching the activities they do and in time I think he will join in more. They have given me full peace

Mum has settled well and has now been here for four months. Her room is light, bright and spotlessly clean. The care is excellent, and the home always listens and takes action when I have brought this up. Mum is safe and well cared for, and the meals are of a very high standard. I wish Mum would socialise
a little more and not sit in her room, but a lot of this is to do with her anxiety.

Mum has been at Redbond Lodge Care Home for two and a half years. After the first year, her situation changed meaning that the care she required changed completely. The Redbond team was very quick to respond to mum's new situation and continue to give her a level of care that is second to none.
Most
important to us, the family, is that whenever we visit Mum is content and comfortable and always full of praise for the staff. Although mum is bedridden and not able to join the other residents she says she can hear them singing which makes her day. She says that the staff are constantly popping in to make sure that she is comfortable and that she always feels safe and looked after.
I would highly recommend Redbond Lodge, the team is fantastic and keeps us informed of everything concerning Mum regularly.

Excellent friendly and caring staff. Really feel mum is at home here and being well looked after. She was nervous at first, but the staff here reassured her and have brought out the best in her. She's more like her old self, at home where dad struggled to cope, and both their health were deteriorating.

I would like to say thank you to all the staff at Redbond Lodge Care Home. My aunt, who is a resident has been in care for the last three and a half years. She continues to be happy and well cared for. I visit her as often as I can and I'm always greeted with a warm hello and smile. Redbond Lodge Care
Home came highly recommended by relatives whose family have stayed before. People who take the time to listen and answer any questions I have about my aunts illness. They know her as well as I do. Hopefully you all realise the peace of mind you give relatives to those in your care.

Since moving into Redbond Lodge my mum has improved so much in many ways.
With the care of the staff and their encouragement, she is much happier and healthier than before. Her general health has improved greatly and she is much happier. She participates in so many activities due to the encouragement

My mum went to live at Redbond Lodge in September 2022 in very weak health.
The care and support the Redbond team have given Mum and family has been amazing. They all work so hard and nothing is too much trouble. Mum's health has improved greatly.

My mother was a resident in the care home for nine and a half years. I have been very pleased with her care there. I was always notified if there was anything wrong with her. She was happy there. I was informed straight away when she suddenly deteriorated and was with her when she sadly passed away
last month. These people are caring and are worth their weight in gold, as my late brother always said.

Welcome to Redbond Lodge! My name is Raquel and I am the Home Manager of our lovely home. I moved to the UK in 2008 and started my career in the United Kingdom. I joined Runwood Homes in November 2008 in different roles from Healthcare Assistant, Care Team Leader, and Deputy Manager from 2012 until I decided to take a big responsibility as a Home Manager at Redbond Lodge. I strongly believe that Customer Service is a key priority, as is building up the home’s residents, families, relatives, and friends and understand the important contribution that these relationships make to the successful running of the care home. Redbond Lodge is such a lovely home with a good reputation in the community. I want to continue to build on that for more people to see it as the place to be. Furthermore, I want to ensure that the team feel valued and that they all have the training and support needed to do their very best. I love my team and deeply appreciate their hardworking commitment to their role. I feel privileged to be part of such a wonderful, caring team who are dedicated to maintaining the safety well-being and the best quality of life of all our residents. I’m Patricia, and I’ve been a Care Team Leader for nearly 10 years. I am also now currently Acting Deputy Manager. I love seeing the positive impact our home has on someone’s life. Hi, I’m Sarah, and I’ve had the pleasure of working as a Receptionist at Redbond Lodge for 1 year and 8 months. I truly enjoy interacting with our residents and their families, making sure everyone feels welcome and comfortable. My role gives me the opportunity to build strong connections, and I take great pride in providing excellent service.


Outside of work, I’m passionate about staying active. I hold a green belt in karate and love staying fit through various physical activities. When I'm not working, you’ll often find me enjoying a good movie at the cinema or taking peaceful walks in the countryside.

Hi, I’m Karen, and I’ve been the Lifestyle Coordinator at Redbond Lodge for two and a half years. My passion lies in making our residents feel valued by organising meaningful activities that bring purpose and joy to their day.


I’m fortunate to work with amazing colleagues who make every day rewarding. While Christmas isn’t my favourite time of year, I do bring my own fun and quirky energy to the job—some might say I’m as mad as a hatter!


In my spare time, I love indulging in DIY projects and crafts, letting my creativity shine outside of work.
