My mother went into Springfield's for respite after coming out of hospital. She loved it so much she asked to move there permanently, they have supported her and our transition making it easy . She has just been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and the carehome helped us all throughout this time .

My Dad spent 14 months in Springfields Residential Home and he loved every minute! From the moment we walked through the doors, we were welcomed with warmth, kindness and big smiles from all the staff and you could sense immediately it was a happy, caring and relaxed place to be. The staff are all exceptional, unique and invaluable and went above and beyond to ensure Dad was settled and happy. They always showed kindness, patience and diligence which made Dad's life extra special and he felt loved by them all!

Dad was always treated with dignity and respect and allowed his independence. The home was clean and tidy, both inside and out; the gardens were immaculate. The food was fantastic; Dad went up three waist sizes in trousers while he was there! As family, we were always treated with warmth and kindness; always an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on and a cup of tea! I would strongly recommend Springfields Residential Home. It's an extra special place with a team in a million!

Beautiful building , feels very much like home. All the communal areas are welcoming and other residents always seem very happy and enjoy a chat. Gardens are incredible , immaculately kept with the added bonus of a peacock or two to entertain the grandchildren. Our family member has been a resident for over four years and has received outstanding care throughout. There are organised activities available daily should they wish to take part but never any pressure. A significant birthday was celebrated with a party generously organised by Springfields . The staff are genuinely kind , caring and will always make time for him and to chat with us when we visit. Basically , can't fault them they're a fabulous team and should either my husband or I need residential care Springfields would be our first choice. Our one word description would be outstanding.

My mother was at Springfields for end-of-life care. She was looked after so well right up to the day she passed away. The staff were amazing looking after her every need. They also treated the family so well and welcomed us in at any time. The accommodation is very inviting and kept immaculate. I would recommend this care home to anyone.

Care, compassion and real love are given by the team to my mother.
They involved her in their conversations, and she felt part of their lives when bedbound.
Activities were available.

Overall Experience
Over time, my family have had three residents at Springfields, all of whom have benefited hugely from the kindness and care of all the staff. It's seemed the staff really do care, often going over and beyond.
Certainly, our experience has been our relatives are treated as their own, with feeling and sympathy; as people, not entities.
The buildings are clean and homely, the garden and surroundings are wonderful, and the food has always seemed comforting and tasty.
The management has always been attentive and responded quickly and positively.
Clearly, care home fees seem high, but Springfields seems to be fair by comparison, for great value, measured by the quality of lives our relatives have had.

We've seen many care homes over the years, and Springfields is bar far the best. If I or my husband needed care, we'd have no reservation about staying there.

My mother spent her last year at the home. The staff were always kind, caring and cheerful and had time to chat when she was too frail to leave her room. There is a homely rather than a clinical atmosphere enhanced by the lovely gardens.

The care my mother received during her stay at Springfield was outstanding. Whilst her stay was always going to be temporary she was treated with great dignity, care and sensitivity by all the exceptional staff. She was nurtured and felt safe with no time pressure to leave until she felt ready to return home allowing her to make a good recovery and regain her strength and confidence. My experie3nce organising her stay was also excellent and very efficient. As a family, we felt she was in very safe hands and we were always welcomed warmly when visiting.

I fractured my pelvis in two places on the 9th November and after 3 days in hospital, my daughter secured a room for me at Springfields Residential Home on the 13th November. The staff were so welcoming and kind to me and I felt safe and comfortable immediately. I had a lovely light and very well equipped room and bathroom with a special bed. It was total joy to be nursed with great dignity by 10 wonderful staff both day and night.

My mother spent three and a half years living in Springfields. We were impressed from the beginning with the care given to her and the support for us.
Attention was always paid to her appearance and comfort as well as her physical health.

This year she had gradually deteriorated and died on 25th October. During that time she was given such love and care by the care team so she was able to die with dignity and comfort in her own home. We were so well supported. Springfield is excellent.
