My Nan moved to Sweyne Court back in May from a different care home and we are so happy she did. All the staff at Sweyne Court are amazing, from Donna in admin to Ryan and Charlotte the managers and all the carers and staff there, they are all just so lovely to my Nan. They treat her like family, they are so kind and considerate of her needs. She has dementia and can get very confused but each and every staff member is there to help her, make her feel seen and comfort her. All the staff treat my little children so well and make them feel so welcome when we visit (which is daily!) The home is so inviting and warm, everyone is happy as soon as you walk in. The residents are lovely and all seem happy to be there and very well looked after. I am so happy my Nan is finally somewhere that we know she's safe and content. Thank you to you all for looking after my Nan x
Thank you so much for your kind words in your review. We are so pleased with how Nan has settled in and how you have all been made to feel comfortable. At Sweyne Court we strive to deliver the levels of care expected and described in this review.
I must say what a wonderful home! I went to visit my friend S, all the staff were so friendly, everyone smiling and said hello, my friend told me how lovely everyone is and nothing is too much trouble, whilst I was there Donna the administrator greeted me at the door, was very friendly and helpful, the manager Ryan was walking around chatting to staff and Residents, my friend said he always comes to say hello and have a chat, all the staff looked comfortable and at ease. There were no odours everyone looked well cared for, I was offered refreshments and even invited to the BBQ they were having the following day, I went along it was fabulous lots of singing dancing and laughte,r the food was delicious, all staff were involved. I would highly recommend Sweyne Court, I might even put my name on the waiting list. Keep up the amazing work you are all wonderful and thank you, Ryan you are great and so are your team.
Thank you for your kind words, we are so glad you enjoyed your visit and feel so positive about the home and would recommend us as well.
The staff are amazing & when I visit I feel like they are now family they care not only about Residents but also everyone visiting.
The team at Sweyne have made the transition so much easier, they are kind and caring. Thank you all for looking after him so well.
Thank you for your kind words, we are glad that you feel the transition was easy for your uncle and yourselves.
Mum is so well cared for and the home is very 'homely' and it always feels as though you are visiting extended family, as well as my mum. We feel we made a good choice.
Thank you for your kind words. We are so glad that you feel Mum is so well cared for and feel that you made the right choice with Sweyne Court.
The staff are more like family and the home certainly does have that homely feel. I had to choose a care home very quickly at the time, I am very grateful for the recommendation I received from my friend. I can rest assured, carry on with my life knowing that my mum is very well cared for and I don't have to worry.
Sweyne Court has lots going on all through the year, from old time singers, summer garden parties, games, baking, gardening, keeping fit with chair exercises to exotic animal and therapy dog visits to name just a few.
Well done and thank you to management Ryan, Charlotte, admin Donna, Housekeeper Ann, Events coordinator Sarah, Chefs Michelle & Graham plus the many seniors and carers. You easily have 5 stars from me!!
Many thanks for your kind words and continued support towards our home. We are so glad you feel that Mum is so well cared for.
I researched for respite care following my 86 year old Dad fracturing a hip. Sweyne Court was highly recommended and was local for our needs. From admission through to the end of Dad's week respite care, I was very impressed with the professionalism and care shown. The staff were polite, friendly and worked on the ethos of making the experience a home from home. Dad's room had great facilities and was cleaned daily. The food was good and there was plenty of choice on offer. Dad responded well and Sweyne Court liased with health care professionals to ensure he received physiotherapy he needed. All in all its a 10 out of 10 for Sweyne Court
Thank you for your kind words. We are so glad that you picked Sweyne Court and that your stay was as expected.
My experience - In the six months my wife has been a resident I have nothing to complain about, in fact I have been pleasantly surprised, long may it continue.
Many thanks for your kind words, it is lovely to hear how positive you feel towards our home.
The home has been amazing for my dad. Staff are friendly and very caring. Sweyne always have plenty of activities for residents to partake in. It was the best decision to move my dad to this home. I would definitely recommend.
Thank you for your kind words, we are so glad that you chose Sweyne Court for your father and that you feel the care team are so friendly and caring.
I have been intending on doing a positive review for this home for months! This home has been a godsend and my father in law is very well cared for. He eats more now and the staff are friendly, caring and efficient. The activities that they put on are amazing! They do things for every "event" whether it be mothers. fathers, or valentines day, Christmas or Halloween. I would totally recommend this home- in fact, I have many times.
Many thanks for your kind words. We are glad your father-in-law has settled in well and you recognise the efforts the team go to for our residents.
The staff are absolutely wonderful. They take the time to truly know each resident as an individual, treating them with dignity, respect, and genuine warmth every single day. My mom is so well cared for, and it's clear how much the team truly cares about her happiness, comfort, and wellbeing.
The activities provided are fantastic and thoughtfully planned, keeping residents engaged, stimulated, and smiling. It means so much to see my mom taking part, enjoying herself, and feeling included. We are also kept well informed through regular updates and photos on social media, which helps us feel connected and reassured even when we live far away.
Many thanks for your kind words, we are so glad that you chose Sweyne Court and feel that the care your Mum receives is as expected.
The staff plan many activities to which family and friend are always welcomed and encouraged to attend. Sweyne Court has such a homely and friendly atmosphere.
Many thanks for your wonderful review. We are glad you feel so positive about our home and that you feel your Mum is so happy in our home.
My mother went here for respite care. Even for people going in for a short period of time the staff try and find out the back story of the person for a more holistic approach to supporting them. The home is kept very clean. They have a varied menu for meals and size of meal to accommodate the preferences of residents.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. We're delighted to hear that your mother's respite stay at Sweyne Court Care Home was a positive experience. Our team takes great pride in getting to know every resident's personal story to ensure care is truly individual and meaningful,...
My Mom has resided at Sweyne Court since February 2024. I am very comforted by the professionalism and caring nature of the entire team at Sweyne Court. The team deliver a consistent level of care to all the residents and indeed the relatives of those residents too. We have very much become part of a wider family community here at the care home for which I am very grateful.
I know that Mom is content and enjoys all the activities organised by the Events Co-ordinator which include crafts, colouring, arm chair aerobics, balloon tennis, skittles and many other activities. There are also many special events arranged where residents and relatives can all get together - for instance this year's Summer Garden Party which was superb and great fun.
The facilities are very good. Mom's room is always clean, bright and tidy. The catering team do a superb job too in catering for Mom's special dietary requirements.
Well done all!
Many thanks for your kind words. We are glad that you feel Mum is content and enjoys a wide range of activities.
My mum has been a resident at Sweyne Court for almost 4 years. She loves living here. She is so well cared for by the staff. They provide excellent care based on a sound understanding of mum's needs. She is treated with dignity at all times. The senior staff are all highly experienced and offer sound advice when needed. The managers are good communicators with residents and relatives. Their main priority is the care of the residents. A home from home with a lovely, welcoming atmosphere.
Thank you very much for your kind words. We are glad that you feel your Mum is being well looked after and the team prioritise the care of our residents.
My mum came to Sweyne Court care home in May 2025. I have been very happy with all the care and support my mum has received. Sweyne Court is really like home from home and I enjoy visiting mum each week and enjoy my time with mum, together with all the friendly staff. They are also fantastic team and offer support to me too.
Thank you for your kind words, we are glad that your expectations have been met and feel welcome in our home.
The biggest asset this home has is the genuine and consistent level of care offered by the staff who are absolutely amazing. We cannot thank them enough for the relentless effort they made to care for our mum. Mum recently passed but was so happy at this home and that has been a comfort to know she was in good hands with her care.
We were very lucky to find this hidden gem of a care home .
Many thanks for your kind words, we are glad you found Sweyne Court a suitable place for your mum and were happy with the care received.
Sweyne court is a lovely care home where the staff make the residents and their loved ones feel like family. They provide activities to keep the residents motivated and my auntie really enjoys them. Everyone is so kind, friendly and approachable should there be any concerns. My auntie is happy there and often says the staff are so lovely. The meals provided are varied and my aunt enjoys them.
