I would like to thank all the staff at Sweyne Court for their dedication to making my husband's life worth living.
Thank you for your review and such kind words; it's very nice for the staff and the home to receive such positive feedback, in particular, during these difficult times. At Sweyne Court, the team, work together with the individual, alongside the families, and other health professionals to gain the best possible outcome for their loved ones in a person-centred way.
The staff are really attentive and always have time for Mum and all the residents. It gives me great peace of mind to know she is well cared for.
Thank you for your review; all reviews enable us to strive to work towards a caring and supportive home. It's wonderful to know mum is smiling and socialising with others and that you now have peace of mind.
After looking around the area and reviewing a number of homes, we decided on Sweyne Court.
If I’ve made any correct calls in my life under heartbreaking circumstances, this by far is the best one.
Sweyne Court and all the staff have embraced my mum and our family as if we were their own. My heart is partly repaired thanks to Sweyne Court.
Thank you for such a heartfelt review. We are happy to know that the transition for mum has gone very well and that you are happy with your choice of home. We continue to strive to make each day count for our residents and welcome all families to be a part of our home.
Mum was really happy, looked well-groomed and smart. She loves her new home and has made lots of really lovely new friends with both the staff and residents. Most importantly, she has company and support whenever she needs it - day or night.
Thank you!
Thank you for your kind comments and for taking the time to write the review about Sweyne Court. Mum has settled very well into the home and has made lots of new friends, which is always nice to see.
My mum suffers from dementia, and sometimes she can be a little bit stroppy, but the carers just take it in their stride.
The seniors are always happy to answer any of my questions about Mum's care and her day to day living, for example, how she is eating and sleeping.
I'm made to feel comfortable and at ease when I visit, which makes it a nice experience for myself and my mum, and even with all the challenges that Covid has created, the staff are dealing with it really well.
I follow Sweyne Court on their Facebook page, so even when I cannot get to visit Mum, I can still see photos of her and the activities that she is taking part in within the home environment. It’s a lovely way for us relatives to see what our loved ones are getting up to.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review of our service at Sweyne Court. It's very nice to be able to share your experience with others that may be looking for a care home for their loved ones. We all do continue to work through these difficult times, following the IPC procedures and...
On the onset, the staff were helpful, caring and professional in this time of Covid. My husband enjoyed very much his time in both respite and the day centre, it has helped him very much in coping with his dementia and also allowing me to relax knowing his needs are met.
Thank you for the review of your husband and your experience of respite care at the home and the day centre that your husband attends. We continue to aim for a safe and enjoyable time spent for all visitors to the services that we are able to provide.
The outstanding care my mum received; always kept up to date with progress, even in the pandemic. They did everything they could to make my mums last week happy and allowed us to be with her when she was dying and passed away. A very caring, supportive care home, especially if they have dementia.
Thank you for your kind comments; it is very much appreciated that you have taken the time to write a review about the home. It brings us great comfort knowing you were able to spend time with your mother, even in the unprecedented times.
I have been in many care homes; this is the best one.
Thank you for your feedback and kind comments. We hope you continue to enjoy your stay at Sweyne Court.
The staff are amazing.
Thank you very much for your kind words and review. We aim to provide the utmost care and compassion throughout peoples time at Sweyne Court.
I'm really happy to live here - could not be happier.
Thank you for your response. We, as a home, are grateful for the review and thrilled that your stay here has been enjoyable.
I find this home very happy and friendly.
Thank you for the review. We aim to provide care and compassion to all who stay with us for the duration of their stay and continue to provide this.
I did not realise the staff worked so hard to look after everyone.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review and for your kind comment. We appreciate every review we receive and feedback to help us improve our service.
We cannot fault Sweyne Court day centre. My father-in-law attends three days per week. All the staff are kind, caring and go the extra mile to make my father-in-law feel valued and welcome. They do lots of activities and also provide a lovely 2-course meal. We can't thank you enough.
Hello, and thank you for your kind review. We welcome all reviews so we can continue to improve our services. We are pleased that your father-in-law is enjoying the day centre facilities, attending three times a week. I am sure he has made some new acquaintances and friends.
The staff are great and treat the residents like their own families. The daycare lady is so friendly, and my father considers her a special friend. All the staff go above and beyond to care for the residents. I would like to mention one lady; she has always been so kind and helpful.
I would recommend Sweyne Court if you are looking into care homes for a family member.
Thank you for your review and positive feedback. The home welcomes reviews to help us to continue to improve the service we provide for each individual.
My grandad has been attending the daycare centre for a few months now. After not leaving my nan's side for nearly 14-years, we thought he would struggle to come to the daycare. However, he is made to feel so welcome and enjoys coming so much that he has gone from one day to two. Staff always make him feel so welcome and keep his brain so active; he enjoys the food and the activities that take place throughout the day. Myself and my family would definitely recommend Sweyne Court to anyone. The care provided is outstanding.
Hello Taylor, thank you for taking the time to complete the review. We are delighted that he is enjoying the day centre services, the activities and the stimulation. It's heartwarming to know your granddad feels safe and confident to leave your nan for the day, and we hope that she is enjoying and making the most of her free time.
Sweyne Court was simply fantastic at providing good, quality care, which always had the residents as the focus. During Covid restrictions, they made every effort to ensure residents were entertained/engaged in meaningful activities - as well as providing emotional support in such difficult times. Their communication with families was brilliant, and we loved receiving cards and photos they created with my uncle. Amazing staff who really care about their residents - thank you for everything.
Thank you for your very kind words and your understanding of the impact of COVID had on care homes. We continue to aim to ensure our residents live a full and stimulating life as they possibly can and enjoy sharing these moments with families.
My uncle spent his final months at Sweyne Court, and I was constantly impressed at the level of care he received. I was kept updated with any issues that arose with his health and wellbeing, and at my visits, he was well-kempt and contented. We managed to arrange discharge from the hospital at the end of life as Sweyne Court were very willing to provide all care. He passed away peacefully in his own room.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review, at what must be a difficult time for you all. Where possible, we are dedicated to caring for our residents until their final days at Sweyne Court, so the person can remain in their home. The staff and residents know each other very well and can...
My grandmother has been in Sweyne Court care home for about six months. I have not been able to visit her yet due to Covid restrictions, but my mum and aunt have, and they are so happy with her care there. I see pictures of my nan all the time on Facebook doing various activities and looking so happy. My mum says the staff are all lovely and my nan tells her she is happy there.
Hello Katie, thank you so much for your feedback. It is so lovely to hear that your Nan has settled in well, and you are all happy with the care that we strive to provide. We welcome all feedback and relay this to all staff.
A friendly and attentive place. Always updating on my mum's progress, always happy to take time to talk and try to accommodate visits during this pandemic.
Many theme days are organised, which break up the resident's days.
Thank you for your review and kind words. The home aims to keep all relatives updated communicating any changes with their loved ones and friends. The staff and lifestyle co-ordinator thoroughly enjoy putting on events and joining in with the residents.
Although she is now bedridden, she is very well cared for, happy and content, which as her daughter, gives me comfort that she is safe and secure.
The staff are always approachable, and any worries are dealt with with empathy and understanding.
I would recommend Sweyne Court for these reasons, knowing how hard it is when it comes to a parent or relative who resorts to extra care.
Hello, and thank you for your review and recommendation. We continue to care for and support all residents in a person-centred approach and aim for your loved ones to be happy.
