There is also has an in-house salon where residents enjoy hairdressing and nail care appointments on a regular basis. The upper floor can be accessed via a lift.
Valentine House has a beautiful private garden with modern patios and a large lawn area backing onto the home’s private car park. The gardens are regularly used throughout the summer months with meals being served in the garden, regular barbeques, birthday celebrations and activities with the local community.
Valentine House has been rated as ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission with an ‘Outstanding’ line in the Responsive category (May 2019).
Valentine House is situated directly at the heart of Silver End, which has a row of shops and a doctor’s surgery directly opposite the home’s entrance. My mother has been in Valentine House 2 1/2 years now. I have always been more than satisfied with the care she received at the home and I find nothing is too much trouble for the management and the care staff exceed expectations. My Mum is very happy there.

My dad came to Valentine House for two weeks respite care. The staff have all been helpful and kind. They really know how to make everyone feel welcome. I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home and hope that dad will visit again.
