Much better than any other care homes in the district. The manager is absolutely brilliant so kind and helpful. The carers are lovely and friendly. The carers actually do care my husband has been made comfortable and settled in well. It is a happy fun home with outings and activities. The residents are encouraged to go in the lovely garden. The home is clean and food is good.

I am a close (school) friend of a new resident at Weald Hall. I have visited him at 3 previous care homes in the past year. I went to Weald Hall for the first time today - I was amazed - all the staff were excellent and caring & engaged with the residents. There was a very positive feeling in the home and it was definitely "A HAPPY SHIP!" Cant review Value for Money as I am not involved in that aspect of my friend's care

Having experienced several care homes, with various family members, over the years, I found Weald Hall to be a breath of fresh air. Not just clean & friendly, but literally having a homely feel. The attention to detail and awareness of residents from all staff members is very reassuring. Every resident was evidently happy, calm keen to interact with everyone else. Such a shame that other care home residents in other locations, have to ensure poor conditions. The CQC should do more.

My mum started at Weald Hall on a daycare basis. We instantly felt very pleased with the care & attention Mum received.
It was an easy decision to make when it was time for Mum to move to permanent care. The transition for us was eased greatly by the time spent with the manager who explained everything and nothing was too much trouble.

It has not been an easy move for Mum but helped for us by the love, care & quality provided.

My auntie has been a resident at the home for approximately 6 weeks. I can honestly say that the experience so far has been outstanding. Though my auntie is still quite able bodied, she has advanced dementia and needs help with all personal care needs. The home holds regular activities for residents and their families, in and out of the care home, which is on beautiful grounds. The staff are all lovely and friendly and it is so comforting to know that my auntie is being looked after so very well.

The atmosphere always feels warm and positive every time we enter. Residents are taken care of well and treated with dignity and respect. Absolutely amazing care home. Superb staff across the board whether that be senior care staff and managers, carers, kitchen, garden, cleaning or reception all are superstars. My 93 year old mother has dementia and other health issues. When she was unable to care for herself it was time to find a care home that could provide care and enrichment for an elderly lady that had no interest in living anymore.
That was October 2024.
She became more intested in life thanks to the excellent carers at the home, becoming involved in activities and excursions organised by the home, and who have taken care of her needs with compassion and genuine interest in her and the other residents. They treat them all as if they were their own mother or father.
The decision to put my mum into the care of Weald Hall was one of the best decisions I have ever made, and one that I do not regret at all.

I cannot recommend Weald Hall enough.
