I am happy with the care my mum receives. What is great about Woodbury Court is the approachability of the staff and their reaction to my inquiries and requests.

They have been particularly good at keeping my mum in contact with her family during the Coronavirus quarantine period by initiating video chats.

I feel Woodbury Court offers a safe and caring environment. The management are professional and understanding in everything they do. The care staff, despite working in very demanding roles, where more hands would always be advantageous, carry out their duties with determination and compassion. They make every attempt to communicate constantly with the residents in a friendly and often humorous manner.

I am full of praise for the efforts made by everyone to provide a home from home for my mum.

After respite, our father became a permanent resident of Woodbury Court in April. We are all very delighted with the care which he receives on a daily basis.
Each visit we feel welcomed from the friendly staff who are polite, approachable and accommodating. We are updated with how Dad has been and what he’s been doing during the day.
The home is very clean with noticeable, continual maintenance, improvements and decorating along with new furnishings.
We have regular communication with management and the senior care team.

We always leave feeling very reassured that Dad is cared for, safe and happy living at Woodbury Court.

The home deserves its CQC assessment as 'outstanding' because the home is a happy place and the staff are always supportive and willing to engage with the residents. Nothing is too much trouble and it is obvious to any visitor that the place is well managed as the staff are always happy and the 'call' bell is answered promptly.

My mum has been in Woodbury Court for over three years. The care is generally fantastic, as anywhere, you get odd carers who clearly have no interest in the job but the majority are lovely, caring and respectful. We recently lost my dad and staff went above and beyond to be thoughtful and helpful at a difficult time for the whole family. A recent stay in hospital showed mum is definitely better by miles in Woodbury Court.

After contracting pneumonia in January and a month spent in Hospital, my Mother was moved to Woodbury Court for rehabilitation after 12 weeks of being away from home and ill.
Her room was very clean and tidy and there was a lovely bright decor and window, it even had her own toilet facilities and wash basin so personal care could be taken care of.
Every day the menu was a good variety and she enjoyed the food every time and she was never hungry. Once Mother got mobile, on our visits we took her to the Tea room for mobility and access to the garden which is very well kept to sit in and enjoy the sunshine.

The staff were always very welcoming and happy to update you on how well Mother was doing and a meeting with the CTM/Social Worker was always available to so that we knew there was progress being made slow but sure. My Mother made a good recovery and is now at home with a care package until she is 100% but her stay here was great for her, the family and her health.

My mother in law arrived at Woodbury Court in January. Unfortunately, she has declined in health rather quickly and has needed more care than anticipated. The staff are so tentative, kind and understanding. They are there for all of her needs and it is a massive relief to leave her every day knowing she has been so well cared for. Really helps seeing familiar carers daily.

Excellent Service, both the management and staff are extremely caring and understanding.
Very professional service, the home has a very welcoming atmosphere where nothing is too much trouble.
We were very impressed with the 'smart' care plan monitoring system used by the home which ensures that all residents requirements and treatments are accurately documented, analysed and regularly reviewed to ensure that all needs are met and catered for.

Full marks to the management team and staff for catering for Dad's needs and doing their best to make him feel welcome. Keep up the good work.

First impressions last, and from day one I was confident Dad was in the right place and in great hands. The environment was bright and airy, staff all looked like they wanted to be there, all pleasant and were reassuring. Dad came alive, he was enjoying the interaction with other residents and staff alike. He engaged in the activities that are well co-ordinated. Within 2 weeks he'd expressed his wish to stay permanently. The transition from rehabilitation to permanent went smoothly. I've developed a great relationship with the management and staff. The old boy is extremely happy and tells me he is well taken care of there. In turn, I've got peace of mind. At a time when there is so much negative press about care homes, and having had dealings with a few, I'm happy to say Woodbury Court is my idea of a home against which to be benchmarked. All that's left to say is "thank you".

Having cared for my wife, who had been diagnosed with Alzheimers/dementia, for over six years. It was with great apprehension that I finally had to place her into care.
The care home chosen was on a recommendation of a neighbour whose husband had been in there. Although only being in care for 3 1/2 weeks, before passing away painlessly in her sleep from a pulmonary embolism, the loving care and attention was of the highest standard. During her stay I visited daily, sometimes twice a day, both early morning and late evening, unannounced, and was always impressed by the carers on duty. It was very clear that all the carers were dedicated, showing loving care and concerned feelings for the resident's welfare.
Visitors were always made welcome by the staff and management would go to great lengths to accommodate any requests.

In all, I cannot speak highly enough of the service received, and although sadly my wifes stay was only short, I and my daughters who visited frequently take great comfort from the knowledge that her last days were contented.

Mum was in Woodbury Court for around 10 weeks. She was looked after well, she made friends not only with the other residents but also the carers. Her room was spacious and they let us put as many of mum's personal belongings such as pictures, ornaments and photos as she wanted. They made sure she was eating and most of all they could have a laugh with her, which was what mum needed.

From day one the staff have shown a level of care, that so obviously reflects a passion for working in care, it's much more than a job to this group at Woodbury Court. On behalf of myself and my family, a big thank you to all, for the continued support, help and kindness they have shown to me and my Aunt.

My mum arrived late on a Friday in a confused and upset state, after a very long wait in the hospital discharge area. On arrival, she was made to feel welcome and the team helped mum to settle into her room and get used to her new surroundings. Mum now feels safe and well looked after by the lovely team that run the reablement section of the home. A big thank you for looking after my mum so well.
