My father was allocated this residential home for a 4-week assessment, we were happy with his care whilst there.
Friendly and helpful manager and accommodating, caring staff.

My Mother was taken into care about 6 months ago, I had to search for a suitable care home for her, after some horrible visits to care homes I was happy with what I saw at Bliss Care Home, however, I was still a bit worried about leaving Mum anywhere. When my mother arrived she was very withdrawn and
quiet, and generally uncooperative, she had given up in life. The transformation I have seen in these last few months is a miracle. Myself and my family have not seen Mum this happy in years. She is a changed person, back to her old self. We owe this to the care and attention received by the Bliss Care Home staff and Manager. Care homes are never cheap but it is worth every penny to see Mum back in the land of the living. (Bliss is actually on the lower end of the scale of fees.) She is part of the family.

I was not in a position to choose where my husband was put in care, but I really don't think it would be possible to ask more from a home than all the care, patience and kindness shown to my husband (well, in fact to both of us!!) from all the staff at Bliss House.
To say I am grateful, just does not
seem adequate.

My father has been at Bliss since March 2018. The staff are extremely friendly, lovely and exceptionally caring.
Nothing is ever to much trouble for them. I would not hesitate in highly recommending Bliss Care Home.

My Nan has been a resident of Bliss and I could not be happier with the care she gets. The staff are all lovely and give you all the help and support you need, nothing is ever too much trouble. It's like a little family with all the staff and residents which is amazing to see, I would highly recommend
Bliss to anyone that needs help with looking after their family members.

Inspection ratings
We rate most services according to how safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led they are, using four levels:
Outstanding - the service is performing exceptionally well.
Good - the service is performing well and meeting our expectations.
Requires improvement - the service isn't performing as well as it should and we have told the service how it must improve.
Inadequate - the service is performing badly and we've taken enforcement action against the provider of the service.
No rating/under appeal/rating suspended - there are some services which we can't rate, while some might be under appeal from the provider. Suspended ratings are being reviewed by us and will be published soon.
Ticks and crosses
We don't rate every type of service. For services we haven't rated we use ticks and crosses to show whether we've asked them to take further action or taken enforcement action against them.
There's no need for the service to take further action. If this service has not had a CQC inspection since it registered with us, our judgement may be based on our assessment of declarations and evidence supplied by the service.
The service must make improvements.
At least one standard in this area was not being met when we inspected the service and we have taken enforcement action.
