I highly recommend Badgers Holt. From the moment Mum moved in, the staff have been caring, compassionate & attentive, making her transition smooth & reassuring. Mum has settled wonderfully & truly feels at home.

I highly recommend Badgers Holt. From the moment Mum moved in, the staff have been caring, compassionate & attentive, making her transition smooth & reassuring. Mum has settled wonderfully & truly feels at home.
The activities are excellent, providing plenty of opportunities to stay engaged, social & active. The facilities are outstanding, & the cleanliness standards are exceptionally high, creating a safe, comfortable & welcoming environment.
Food quality is excellent, with a varied & enjoyable menu that Mum always looks forward to. Badgers Holt has a warm, homely ambience that makes residents & visitors feel instantly welcome.
Lovely outdoor areas offer peaceful spaces to relax & spend quality time with loved ones. Mum's room is comfortable, personalised & feels truly her own.

From the moment she arrived, the warmth, professionalism, and dedication of the staff were second to none. The daily care provided was attentive, compassionate, and tailored to her individual needs, making her feel safe, valued, and thoroughly comfortable.
The most reassuring aspect of her stay was witnessing the remarkable positive transformation in her health and overall well-being. Seeing her flourish under their care gave our family immense peace of mind.

The staff at Badger's Holt are all extremely caring and professional. The home is definitely cosy and welcoming and my auntie is very happy there. Any concerns are dealt with straight away and they always communicate if they are worried about anything at all.

The staff at Badger's Holt are all extremely caring and professional. The home is definitely cosy and welcoming and my auntie is very happy there. Any concerns are dealt with straight away and they always communicate if they are worried about anything at all.
The rooms are quite small but beautifully decorated and furnished with pastel colour patterned duvets and curtains. The garden is great and able residents can take their exercise and sit outside to enjoy the good weather. They have regular trips out on the minibus often for ice creams or a cup of tea.
There are 2 very comfortable lounges and a conservatory attached to the dining room.
The cost is expensive, they all are, but very competitive with other homes in the area.

Mum had been in Badgers holt for 18 months when she declined and was bed bound. The staff were the most attentive to her and us. They cooked her favourite fish for her when I took it in and it's a great comfort to know she enjoyed this so much in her last days.

Mum had been in Badgers holt for 18 months when she declined and was bed bound. The staff were the most attentive to her and us. They cooked her favourite fish for her when I took it in and it's a great comfort to know she enjoyed this so much in her last days.
Her time in Badgers holt was a relief knowing she was not on her own and was looked after so well and the staff became family and I'm still in contact with a few of them now

From arrival she has been treated with kindness, patience and respect. Staff know her as an individual and care for her as a person, not just a resident.
Communication is excellent; we are kept informed and any questions are answered quickly and reassuringly, giving us peace of mind.
The biggest change is she is more sociable, joining activities and seems happier and more settled, which reassures us.
We are very grateful for the care and compassion shown every day. It is never easy choosing a care home, but we feel she is in the right place.

Highly recommend Badgers holt. They are very caring and tried their best to meet my mother's needs. It felt like a family home and my mother felt part of it. If I had any issues the care home would listen and address it. Their end of life care is where they really shine. Nothing was too much, they looked after us just as well as my mum. My mother was there for over 7 years and we all felt she was well looked after and it took so much pressure off us all to know mum was in the best care.

As my relative's physical condition has drastically worsened over these years, coupled with an Alzheimers diagnosis, Badgers Holt have embraced the challenges presented to a level I could only ever have hoped for.

My mother was a resident at Badgers Holt residential care home from April 25 until April 26. I felt that she was very well cared for and the staff were wonderful with her because she suffered from Parkinson's and Dementia. She received end of life care at Badgers Holt and the staff were exceptionally kind, thoughtful and gentle with her which made an incredibly sad and difficult time that little bit easier. As a family we are incredibly grateful for the love they showed towards my mother. I would highly recommend Badgers Holt residential care home.

Our Mother went to Badgers Holt as an interim measure over Christmas and loved it so much she asked to stay she was treated as an older lady should be with respect and love the staff were amazing they called her Queen, the facilities were bright and clean, modern but each client had their own room...
Our Mother went to Badgers Holt as an interim measure over Christmas and loved it so much she asked to stay she was treated as an older lady should be with respect and love the staff were amazing they called her Queen, the facilities were bright and clean, modern but each client had their own room they could personalise to a point mum was diabetic but the food was lovely and there was no problem taking mum out for an afternoon to the beach. Unfortunately Mum passed away in march 2026 the staff were fantastic some even came to Mums cremation it was good to see them. Overall they are a very loving and considerate bunch always up for a laugh. Thankyou Badgers Holt you did Mum proud she loved coming home on a Saturday Afternoon just in time for tea.
