The home is always up to a high standard of cleanliness.

Having taken some time to get used to life in a care home, my partner is now settled and has adapted to his new life. Throughout some challenging times, he has been helped, reassured and comforted, also treated with respect by many of the staff at Bethel House, many of the staff at Bethel House who are admirable for their patience and care, I am very grateful for this and happy we chose Bethel House.

Nowhere is the same as being in your own home, but when that is not possible Bethel House is a nice place to be.

My mother has been happy and relaxed in Bethel House. The environment is ideal for my mother. She is happy with her room and likes the food. I think the program of activities is excellent giving the residents a variation on their day. My mother is well looked after, having her hair done every week. She also likes having her nails done. Personal care is extremely important and my mother often comments on the care she has received.

The carers and staff at Bethel House have been excellent in the care and attention given to our aunt who suffered from dementia. Our aunt was at Behtel House for more than 6 years and was happy throughout her stay. It is always difficult to choose a care home for a loved one but we are glad we chose Bethel House. It was a very good choice.

Well done to all these great key people - I can't thank you enough.

When I was looking for a place to live I looked at several nice places but Bethel house has all the things that I liked. My room is well situated looking out at a very nice garden. I told my daughter this is as good as it gets. I have settled and just love it here.

My mother-in-law moved to Bethel House six months ago, and in that time, she has come to think of it as her home. The manager and her deputy are, in particular, outstanding. We can't stress enough how caring and patient they are. The manager is always thinking of how she can improve Bethel House and the lives of its residents. The care staff are kind and will always find time to talk to the residents, despite the demanding and stressful nature of their work. We were particularly impressed with the Jubilee party where the staff made a huge effort to involve the residents; my mother-in-law was very happy singing along to the live music and reminiscing about watching the coronation. Thank you, Bethel House team, for all your hard work.

My mother has been in Bethel House for almost 3-years now. I can detect she is not always happy there, although this depends on her state of mind! However, I can also determine she must be a very demanding resident for the staff - she often talks of moving near me, but I'm sure she wouldn't be happier in any other residence. As for my perception of the home, it is bright and clean, and the staff always seem to find a few minutes for Mum to introduce me (again). The most recent changes have improved the overall feel, in re-arranging the lounge so it is not as cramped as before, and much more bright and welcoming. The bright paintwork everywhere gives the home that happy feeling. I cannot praise the staff highly enough for doing a difficult job.

My great Aunt is really happy at Bethel despite some apprehension from her to start with, the staff and other residents all seem very happy and this has a positive effect on my Aunt. The activities are plenty and keep her both engaged and stimulated. She has really settled in and has made lots of new friends.

A thoroughly professional run care home, providing personally tailored attention to individuals' needs. The staff cannot seem to do enough for the patients and are led by a dedicated management team. Recommended to anyone who finds themselves in the position of needing to find such facilities.

Even in his last few weeks with us, their empathy, care and tenderness shown to dad and us as a family will not be forgotten.

A nicely decorated and bright environment with friendly and efficient staff. The food is excellent and the staff are very helpful with nothing too much trouble. Dad is comfortable and well looked after and we know he is in safe hands.

It is reassuring to know that my mother is receiving the best care possible given that I am so very far away that regular visits are not feasible.

The care given to my mother is first class the whole team work tirelessly to give them the best care. I find Bethel House to be very clean and is and very presentable. On visiting my mother I can see the carers know exactly what to do and they are very well organised they always make us very welcome when I come to visit

We find all the staff at Bethel house show compassion and care. Bethel House is always clean, tidy and very bright it’s a pleasure to visit the home we always receive a very good welcome. As for the caring of my mother-in-law we couldn’t ask for more.
