Overall Experience
My husband has Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer’s. I needed to have respite for myself, as I was his full-time carer. I chose to use Park House over a year ago. I have never regretted my decision.
The time came in November of this year 2023. That I could no longer care for my husband at home. He is now in permanent care at Park House.
We have just spent our first Christmas together there and it was beautiful. We were both cared for all day by the team of smashing staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them to make it a happy day for us and the other residents.
The chef cooked us a delicious Christmas dinner. The team sat down with us at the tables that were laid with festive tablecloths and crackers. We had a table for two. Which made it more special. All residents had gifts to open from Park House.

The management team, have gone above and beyond, to care, help and support me, through what has been the most difficult time in so many ways. With love to you all from us both.

I cannot recommend Park House highly enough: it is well led by the manager who knows all the residents and is knowledgable, supportive, and everything you would want from a care home manager; the staff are amazing and you can really drop in any time to visit; the residents are such kind, supportive people. It really is a home-from-home. Sadly, Dad was only at Park House for a few months but its impact on our lives was transformative.

I have visited my good friend on 3 occasions and have been impressed with this home. Caring and compassionate staff, always respectful and welcoming to visitors. Clean and well maintained premises. Real sense of family amongst residents and staff who are clearly very committed to their work.

My mum recently moved into Park House Care Home and is settling in nicely. It's good to see her smile again as I know it was very hard for her to give up her independence and her own home. She has already made some new friends with both the residents and the staff. The staff are very friendly and attentive and do their best to make her happy. I receive regular updates about mum from the manager which is very useful and such a relief for me to know she is being well looked after and cared for. I feel very fortunate that I found such a lovely, friendly care home for mum.
