An excellent home with caring staff and exceptional management, providing happy, vibrant home, attention to detail and the varying needs of residents being catered for is outstanding.

Because my daughter is so happy and settled, I can relax knowing she is well cared for.

A very well-run care home. Time is given to the resident's relatives. Residents are treated as individuals and given the necessary attention.
A happy, calm atmosphere prevails in the house.

Very hard-working, lovely staff!

It is the best place to be when we lose our partners. I like living here because the staff are nice and helpful. We go on holiday every year. I go on the bus on my own and come back on my own. We get good food and we can choose.

Overall Experience

My sister has lived at Primrose House since 2004, she refers to it as her home. The very helpful, caring and considerate staff treat her with dignity and she is listened to and respected. They tailor her care to her particular needs. Knowing that she is happy, stimulated and safe, means I can sleep at night and that is a testament to the home, the care they provide and the trust I have in the staff looking after my precious sister.

Throughout the pandemic, we couldn’t visit, however, it was a real comfort knowing I could facetime her at anytime or call and receive regular feedback on how she was doing. The team followed every guidance to keep the house safe, but it was hard not to see her. However, the main priority was to make sure all the residents were safe and protected and because of their hard work, none of the residents caught Covid. I honestly do not know where to begin to thank the manager and his team enough for looking after my sister and her residents.

Overall Experience

My niece has been a resident at Primrose house for over 15 years and is very happy living there. The manager and his wife are extremely caring and have a thorough knowledge of health issues and caring for people. The staff are always bright, cheerful, friendly, kind and helpful. They have been very thorough throughout the pandemic and introduced new very scrupulous cleaning practices to keep everyone safe and well.

It is reassuring to know that my niece is so well cared for and settled at Primrose House. If I have any questions or worries about her, I can phone the Manager and discuss things. He is always ready to listen and will sort things out with diligence and common sense.

There is a relaxed, homely feel to Primrose House, very much a family atmosphere with the residents and staff. My niece is supported to go to various activities when it is safe and the staff are also very quick to respond to any medical matters and get her the help she needs.

Overall Experience

My relative is a resident at Primrose House and has been for many years now. I am very impressed with the care and understanding she receives there and because of this, she is a very happy person. Primrose House staff have been extremely careful during the time of Covid and have gone above and beyond their duties while making it their priority to keep the residents safe. I am really grateful to them for the care they have shown my relative throughout this difficult time and indeed at all times. I am always kept informed about any issues or concerns regarding her care which gives me peace of mind. When my relative has been with me for a visit, she is always very excited about going back to Primrose House to see her friends. I have always been happy with her residence there and will continue to be very grateful to them.

Overall Experience

My relative has been a resident at Primrose House for some years now and she is very happy there. It is very welcoming and I am impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the fact that they are always courteous. My concerns and questions are always addressed without delay and if a response cannot be given straight away I will always be contacted at some point with the information I have been seeking.

What has impressed me most is the care and attention given to the residence during this unforeseen Covid pandemic which has been devastating. The management in Primrose House were very quick to keep the residences safe by locking down very early even before the government put their measures in place. Knowing how vulnerable my relative is gave me peace of mind and reassurance that she would be safe during this uncertain period. I cannot praise Primrose House enough for the care and support they have given my relative and I'm sure she'll continue to be happy there amongst her friends.

My sister is a resident at Primrose House. The care she has received has been exemplary, particularly over the pandemic. They regularly go above and beyond the call of duty. The team are in constant contact with our family so we remain involved in care decisions. They are approachable and friendly. We are able to see her whenever we wish. My sister is always keen to return after visits home, which for us is the best indication she is happy and well cared for.
