Sunnycroft

As a family, we wish to express our deepest gratitude for the love and care that Sunnycroft gave to our mum whilst she was part of their family. Mum was a resident for 31/2 years. During that time she was treated with love and respect and as her dementia worsened they just adapted her care until eventually, she was bed-bound. Mum's care continued to be conscientious and loving until she finally left us. As a family, we were treated with kindness and compassion as Mum neared the end of her life. Sunnycroft can only be highly recommended from our experience.

I couldn't recommend Sunnycroft enough since their work ethic is such that the staff even phone in on their days off to check up on the residents' wellbeing.

I feel very good because the care that you get is very good.

My mother-in-law came to stay at Sunnycroft for nineteen nights for respite. The care from the minute she arrived was a relief to know she was in good hands. She ate well, the staff were very caring and fun, the rooms were spotless and above all else she was safe. Thank you and we look forward to visiting again.

My mum recently moved into Sunnycroft Care Home. It is without a doubt the nicest care home I have ever been in. I have worked in care for twelve years and I would absolutely love to work in a care home like this. It is light and airy with lovely views and it smells clean and fresh when you walk in. The staff are lovely. They are kind, friendly and cheerful. They are wonderful with the residents. They make visitors feel welcome and are helpful and informative. My mum absolutely loves it there. She loves the food, staff and her room. It doesn't feel like a care home. We were so lucky to have found this gem of a place for our mum. I would 100 % recommend this superb care home to anyone.

Beautiful setting, very tranquil. Staff are very approachable and go above and beyond to help/care. The cook is amazing and produces incredible food. Can not recommend Sunnycroft enough.

Mum has resided at Sunnycroft for less than a year. Mum is safe and well cared for, she gets on well with the staff, and they, in turn, think a lot of her and are very supportive, caring and loving towards her as they are her family. Mum's room is comfortable, with lovely views. Mum enjoys the activities when she attends them and is very much encouraged to do so but equally respected if she is not feeling up to it. Mum especially loved the trip on a boat at Hamble for the Remembrance Service, the King's Coronation and the party held at Sunnycroft with a singer present.

My mum had been a resident of Sunnycroft care home for nearly two years now, as it was recommended to me by a friend, and I wouldn't want her staying anywhere else. All the staff there go above and beyond with the residents and the visitors that come to see their relatives. Would highly recommend this care home to anyone looking for a care home.

For the last sixteen years, my husband has been a resident of Sunnycroft. The care he has received in all this time has been first-class. The staff have cared for and supported not only him but my family with understanding, helping him through several bad times. It gives me peace of mind to know he is cared for so well.

The staff are extremely great in every way. I enjoy the activities. I like helping out. I am well cared for. I have made a lot of friends. Everyone is happy to help me. Meals are always ready.
