My husband moved into Ashwood a couple of months ago, and I can honestly say we are delighted with the care he is receiving. From day one, the manager, Natalie her team and the wonderful carers have shown genuine kindness and compassion. They go above and beyond every single day. It gives us enormous peace of mind knowing he is happy, respected and treated with dignity. I can honestly say, the standard of care is exceptional. The food is good, personal hygiene is never overlooked, with regular baths and hair washing, and clean clothing every day. It's often the little things that make the biggest difference, and Ashwood gets those little things right. We cannot thank Natalie and every member of the team enough for the love, care, dedication and respect they show every day.

Ashwood care home is very unique, residents are able to walk freely around, no keypad locks except on the front entrance. Residents have access to the gardens at all times, unlike some homes where they are stuck on the middle or top floor. Ashood is a huge bungalow with lovely well kept gardens. The carers are so kind and the home is so clean. Carers actually show the residents the meals so they can more easily choose. Activities are very well thought out and for all ranges of ability. They keep me informed about all aspects relating to my mum. They are all so friendly and kind. Im so grateful for this care home, I have peace of mind, knowing my mums so well cared for. Fairly recently they appointed a new manager and she is fantastic, with an open door policy. I couldn't imagine my dear mum being anywhere else.

Kindness, care and consideration best describes this home. My wife, who is a resident here, cannot walk, talk or feed herself, has been treated with love and care by all staff members, and I have had no concern for her wellbeing from the time she entered the home. Good standards of cleanliness have always been maintained by dedicated staff who work extremely hard, having to deal with all residents' requirements and needs. The home is recommended.

My dad mostly enjoys his time in the home. Always has nice things to say about the staff. Especially on bath day. He really enjoys this. The staff are always friendly and helpful. My only downside is his room isn't big enough but that can't be helped.

My mum has been in this care home for three weeks. She is so happy. The nurses are kind, caring and full of fun! My mum tells me she is happy. She is clean, her medication is given when needed, and she enjoys her food. I moved my mum here from a home that was no good. Since being at Ashwood, my mum has come out of her shell, and she now talks again, and I just know she is happy and content. She smiles more bow. When it is my time, I'd like to move into Ashwood!

We as a family would like to thank all the staff at Ashwood for looking after our mum. Ashwood feels really warm & friendly, that is what they all try to do in difficult circumstances. They have even been to here for us after mum moved back to London. All the best.

My mum had respite care at Ashwood. She was made to feel very welcomed and cared for. The home itself presented extremely clean. The manager is lovely and appeared very hands on too. Every single member of staff I met were really fantastic, not only in doing their day to day tasks but really engaging with the resident in a very personal way it was lovely to see. I couldn't fault this care home.

After realising my 87-year-old mother needed full-time care which got too much for us as a supportive family, we looked into care homes. This was a hard enough decision to make but with all the help and support from Ashwood staff made our decision easy. By far an amazing care home. Big thank you.

A warm and friendly staffed welcoming environment. All staff are highly professional at meeting the needs of the resident and making sure the resident is happy. The staff are excellent and they are what makes this home special as they are always on hand to support and deal with queries. The small outside courtyard areas with pretty planting make a lovely place to spend time with your relatives. Rooms are small, but outside areas and open plan kitchen/dining areas in each bungalow are spacious. There are also trips laid on to local attractions dependent on minibus availability and space on the bus.

Having never had the need nor any knowledge of a care home, before my mum entered residential care. I have been pleasantly surprised at how well Ashwood is operated. One hears such horror stories about care homes and I think generally people dread going into one, at Ashwood one can easily see the enthusiasm of the care team on a daily basis, my mum seems totally happy being at Ashwood, which is something I never dreamed would happen. Well done Ashwood for being a great care home.

My father was a resident in Ashwood Care Home since July 2023 and I have found the home to be excellent. All of the staff have been very friendly and efficient and the office is always open if needed. Bearing in mind my father was 97 and could be difficult at times he was treated with care and respect. I would like to personally thank the staff for all their hard work.

The staff are always happy to see my husband for respite care, he is due for a visit next week and makes me feel so reassured that all the staff are fantastic and can visit anytime and always find him happy and cared for. My husband has both physical and mental problems but the staff are always great with his needs. I couldn't manage his care at home without these little breaks. Thank you.

My gran was at Ashwood for a few years. She loved the staff like family and was well cared for. I cannot thank Ashwood enough for the way you looked after my mother-in-law, such a kind, friendly and clean home, a special mention to all the staff, I think you all go over and above you are all amazing.
Ashwood is a complete family home from the moment we arrived we were welcomed every day.

The management, nursing, carers, and cleaners are a credit to the home. I will never forget you, and all you did for us as a family, I would definitely recommend you to anyone looking for adult care, again thank you.

I can recommend this care home unreservedly. They have taken good care of my uncle and aunt. The staff are caring, warm and kind-hearted to the residents. The staff are happy and cheerful in themselves too and clearly enjoy their work - always an excellent indicator of the likely quality of care your relatives are likely to receive, in my opinion. If the staff aren't happy, the residents won't be either.

My mum came to Ashwood in December last year and decided to stay.

My Mum is happy and very well cared for. She is enjoying the company and attention that she is receiving. All the residents I met seemed happy and were all equally well cared for and it is clear that every effort is made to meet everyone’s needs.

From my perspective, Ashwood is by far the best care home I have seen and experienced.
The design of the home is both thoughtful and practical. The garden areas are lovely.

Residents live in smaller groups making it easier for them to relate to each other and build meaningful relationships.

Efforts are made to entertain and engage all the residents in various activities which is no easy task, and the addition of the minibus for outings is a great idea.

The staff and management are truly amazing and work hard to ensure residents and relatives are looked after and engaged.

Thank you for all you do!

My mum moved into Ashwood (Care Home) at the end of May 2023.
From the first visit there with my husband, we knew this was the place for my mum.
The management team have been outstanding from the very beginning, kind, caring and thoughtful, as well as communicating with us all of the time.
The carers are lovely, they work so hard, and the residents are always happy, and nothing is too much trouble; they treat all of them as individuals.
Let's not forget the cleaners, cooks, entertainment team and maintenance, once again wonderful.
My mum had become more outgoing, like her old self, she is not lonely anymore, and they treat her with the utmost respect.
For me and my family, I personally can not thank you enough; our life has changed as well,
not just my mums.

Thank you all at Ashwood.
